Seeing the Monkeys at Manchester Arena tonight  Hopefully will see some of Lemon Twigs support slot as well, queues (!) dependant. How was it? Just found out I’m going midweek! So excited! Really enjoyed their TRNSMT set. One of the best gigs I've seen even though the new songs weren't really my cup of tea. |

Really good, it was the best performance I've seen from them. Good mix of classics and newies. At this stage in their career, with their rich back catalogue, it felt like a greatest hits tour. You are in for a treat. I'm going again on Thursday at the O2. I hate the place and said I wouldn't go there again but a mates got a spare so I had to go! |

Thanks for posting the film, oasisserbia. Hadn't seen it. Some great footage there. Looking forward to hearing 'Anyways'. Didn't expect there to be any B-sides from this album cycle, so bring it on. |

Good first 3 albums, and then turned into a very mediocre band. Im only really a fan of their post FWN work. I was 20 at the time of their deubt and it felt a bit too youthful for my musical tastes at the time. That's the good thing about them really, they kept progressing and gained new fans. |

Good first 3 albums, and then turned into a very mediocre band. I agree, Suck It And See was very mediocre but thanks God that they released two great albums after that. |

Good first 3 albums, and then turned into a very mediocre band. Don't agree with you on that at all. One of the few interesting band's still out there. Their last album one of the more ballsy moves by a band I've not seen since Radiohead releasing Kid A back in 2000. Any band not afraid to mess with the sound always get a thumbs up from me. SIAS is probably their weakest effort but still a very good album. AM one of the best albums of the last 18 years. TBH&C is a fantastic album not for everyone's taste's but it's got some of the best songs Turner's ever written. |

Turner looking like 1970 era George Harrison with the goatee and long hair. Great footage, especially great seen Turner and Helders on the drums working on Ultracheese. Also love the clips of them sorting out the arrangement for Star Treatment. TBH&C really has grown on me, and i'm guessing Anyways will not differ too much from that album's sound. But Monkey's B-sides always are of a top quality. So looking forward to it. |

So now that a bit of time has passed, does anybody hate this album? I do. I can't even bring myself to sit through it again. Every time I try, I get bored and turn it off after a song or two. Even on shuffle, it's just terrible in my opinion. I only like a single track.

So has anyone listened to Anyways? Saw that the TBH+C single leaked yesterday but couldn't find it to download. Just found an 11 seconds clip of the song on YT and it sounded like The Ultracheese 2. You can't tell too much from 11 seconds but I hope I'm wrong

It boggles my mind how people dislike it and how members on here dismiss this album as it is the closest sounding AM album to Oasis.
Go back and listen.

Couldn`t agree more, SIAS is my fav AM album, I don`t know why many people consider it to be the worst, I hope they`ll go back to that sound on the next record. |
