Their record (presuming that's on the way soon) will probably only have five or six good songs on it, but sod it, bring it on. I'm interested to hear what Turner's got to say for himself.

What makes me hopeful that this will sound different from AM is the fact that it's been almost five years. If they would have liked to simply cash in and make AM pt. 2 it wouldn't have taken them this long to make it.

Kidding aside, for some reason I have really high hopes for it. Based on last TLSP album and Alex' new look so I guess new look = new persona on stage = different music?

I just hope Turner has got his act together a bit. Watching some footage of the previous Last Shadow Puppets tour is embarrassing especially with that hanger-on Miles Kane and his terrible tracksuits. I adored their first album, never got a chance to see them live until the second and happily skipped their show in favor of Bryan Ferry the same night.

There are not 2 Arctic Monkeys albums that sound the same. Maybe WTPSIATWIN and FWN but they got some sound changes. Humbug came after the first LSP record. Turner used a darker/James Bond like sound in that album and I gotta say I fucking love that style. TLSP were back in 2016 and Turner co wrote Belladona Of Sadness with Alexandra Savior and that album has got the exact same sound that Humbug had. Cinematic,darker and atmospheric. So I hope this next album is sorta Humbug 2. Hope that he gets influenced by TLSP and Alexandra Savior. Also hope that James Ford produce the album. That lad has the Midas touch
