Love this one. A fun and happy stomper. The verses are the highlight.

My least favourite song on the album. The verses start like Limahl's "Neverending Story" and it's highly cringey.

BAWS has grown on me, and I really like Keep On Reaching. ILITL flows well in the context of the album, but it's probably one I'll be skipping when it comes on shuffle - or at least, I won't actively look to play it. That may change, though.

Has anyone managed to identify the Brian Eno sample in the beginning? (If it's indeed a Brian Eno sample...) It sounds like something from Another Green World, but I couldn't spot it yet.

If they paid to sample that intro it was fairly pointless huh! Unless Noel just wanted to get on Eno's radar for album number four... X

I think you're right and it's not an actual sample. Maybe there was a sample at some point and they decided against paying for it.
As for Noel working with Brian Eno, I doubt it could ever happen. They are very different people.

Absolutely loved it. It's neck and neck with The Man Who Built The Moon, for me. It's what turned the album around. The first half felt too much like Noel laboring under Holmes' rules, as though he was thinking "well, this is what I agreed to do, so here we are". Then the second half started and it began to feel like Holmes' production was finally serving Noel's music, rather than the other way around.

Brian shuffled his pack of oblique strategies and pulled out a card. "OK Noel, remove specifics and convert to ambiguities." "You fookin' what?" More shuffling. "Uh. OK, let's try some disciplined self indulgence." "Can you speak in fookin' English please? This is like working with Gaz fookin' Cobain all over again!" "Oh for gods sake Noel, just play it faster."

I've only heard ILITL a couple of times, but I definitely didn't get Neon Bible vibes. I guess there's an Arcade Fire feel to the joyous and orchestral nature of it, but I wouldn't call it a rip-off.

According to Chris Martin, Brian actually likes tracks to be slower and at the start of Strawberry Swing, you can hear him say "It's a bit fast, isn't it?". #tidbits

It's not a rip off of that arcade fire song, it has the same guitar strumming pattern and an organ, it's called making music. So no. + the arcade fire singer is annoying.
