Not a fan of this one - reminds me of that Gary Barlow song that is Mumford lite.
I don't really get how this is meant to fit the vibe of this album or Holmes' ethos. It's just really weak and twee in my book.

It's totally the Beatles Two of Us. I could hear Paul's voice as soon as it started. Just like in Be Careful I hear John "here come ole flat top..." lol Yes to Xmas single

Biggest grower for me as well. On the first few listens of the album there were so many other songs that grabbed my attention that I had to listen the fuck out of. Once I'd done that I came to this and absolutely love it now!

Grown on me a bit. Still amongst the weakest -- Be Careful What You Wish For, and Keep On Reaching.

I wouldn’t say I’m a huge fan of this song, but weirdly I keep finding the tune in my head

I wouldn’t say I’m a huge fan of this song, but weirdly I keep finding the tune in my head The verse melody is extremely addictive. Though everytime I think 'where have I heard this before?' it's definitely the same as at least one other song. However, the overall track is pretty unique to Noel so we can let him off.

I keep thinking this is a song Jake bugg could have written. It would be a really good cover if he ever decided to cover it.

Intervention by Arcade Fire, mate. Direct rip off.

Fantastic upbeat tune. It's getting better and better each day.

Friend of mine (who’s a fan of Noel/Oasis) said this upon hearing it for the first time, “without his voice, that sounds like the lumineers wrote a goddamn holiday jingle for a Hyundai dealership. Complete horseshit.”

Since it's mid december and it has the four on the floor sound of northern soul, and the sleigh bells give it the remiscent of A Christmas Gift for You from Phil Spector, why haven't them released it as a single?

I was just thinking this yesterday. Not releasing this as a single with a full on Christmas video and a vinyl with Noel dressed as Santa in the cover is an opportunity missed
