Far too early to judge. Have to let WBTM? settle for the next couple of weeks.
Initial impressions though, I feel like AYW wins out. It's just a very good record. A very surprising record. Not something Liam could ever make...but he did. He blew my expectations out of the water.
That being said, WBTM? is not falling far behind. Nearly neck and neck.

How dare you. You can't like both of them!!! Why? I really love As You Were. It's a great album and fantastic come back for Liam. I'll listen to Who Built The Moon on this Friday, so I can't say anything about it at the moment, but I'm pretty sure I'll love both albums. I'm fairly confident that was satire.

Having skimmed over WBTM earlier, what strikes me is that there's no real AWFUL songs on either of them. All of Noel's stuff is really good, and the worst stuff on Liam's is just mediocre. For 23 Gallagher tracks to have the worst among them be a 5/10 is really impressive and not something you would ever have bet on up to this point.
As I said, halcyon days.

As You Were is the best Gallagher related album since Be Here Now. From top to bottom it's an amazing album and I really do believe there is zero filler on it. I really don't know the last time I've felt an album by any artist was so complete. I think I'll be listening to it for years to come. Who Built The Moon has a couple good tracks, but the rest are quite forgettable. A lot of people on this forum are going apeshit over it at the moment, but they're an excitable bunch. I don't think it will stand up to the test of time, and in a year or two, we'll see many of the people who praised it saying that they like it, but listen to one or two songs on it regularly. More or less, business as usual on L4E. ...suuuure

I've always thought that 'Ain't Got Nothing' and 'I Get By' is the same song and Liam just forgot that he has already written it.

This. The songs that work on WBTM are absolute corkers, but the ones that don't are really, really bad. As You Were achieves its goals much better. AYW has some real stinkers too I have to agree the WBTM has very low impact on first full listen a very very mixed up album with no real flow to it - the last 2 tracks are purely i my opinion tacked on due to public out cry at the shite instrumentals added. AYW I have listened to at least once a day since it came out and it still holds my attention. Not to say that WBTM doesn't have a couple of good tracks, it does, but Noel has favoured short play time on these and left the duller more bloated songs at 5 mins plus. I hope to christ Noel doesn't colabrate with David Homes ever again. AYW a clear winner in my yard by absolute miles - I think Liam smashed and won 2017 out of the Gallagher brothers in my opinion. Shame as I really hoped Noel's album would be great in its own right which its not unfortunately its memrorable for all the wrong reasons to my ear. I will undoutably play this to death for next few days and hope it grows on me..but never had this thought with any other Gallagher related album EDIT. HAving now listened to NOELS WBTMthis AM...completly and not skipping through tracks. ..and also finding who built the moon ..which was missing off the Download I got hold off...it's a serious grower...OK. .still not as bombastic as AYW bit some absolute corkers ..

Not bad, not good. It's five...out of ten. Fort Knox for me might be my favourite, with The Man Who Built the Moon.

Numbers are pretty good system to use too, though, where five is the direct midpoint...it's so strange seeing people say "not feeling this" and then giving it it 6.

Fucking bunch of predictable vaginas Do you ever consider that people might have just have different taste in music when forming these "I could tell who would love/hate it anyway" posts? I could probably tell you who was gonna like WBTM on here too, because I know their tastes. It's not some weird conspiracy, it's just people liking different types of music.

Its just boring the way its put across. Especially people who try and justify why others like AYW. Like oh AYW is liked by moron parka monkeys who dont appreciate other music etc.

If I got 5/10 on something, it was bad. 8 was good enough for me though haha. It also makes my system a bit tougher. An 8 is great whereas 6.5 is below standard in this case, but for others a jump of 1.5/10 may represent very little.

Fucking bunch of predictable vaginas To me that’s not quite right; I want Liam to make music like As You Were... to be as close to Oasis as possible... and I’m delighted if Noel does other stuff... if that makes sense?
