Every time I think one of the three is my favourite, I listen to one of the others and change my mind. I really love the music we've been getting from Noel this year.
As for it going nowhere, I personally think it does just enough to build without losing it's menace. That little break after the monologue I think is absolutely gorgeous, and the monologue itself is cool AS FUCK. Can't help but sing-along with the chorus and dance to the verses. Great tune.

Oi, Noel, man made global warming isn’t real. You’ve explicitly stated on here that you’re an atheist aren’t you? On the basis that you don’t believe in crackpot mythological nonsense contrary to the evidence no.........

As poor as some of Noel’s songs got, more so in that they sounded so half arsed, he never wrote anything as syrupy sweet and maudlin as For What Its Worth. I really like Liam’s album but its the poorest on the album. Something that belongs with Beady Eye. Even Keane would go ‘but much that no?’. Reminds me of the overblown melodramatic song that Father Dick Byrne performs on the Eurovision episode of Father Ted. Noel has always been on the right side of sentimentality. Never gone overboard, he’s always had a knack of just getting it right. Holy Mountain and She Taught Me How to Fly.

I'd give it a 5/10. the the effects on the chorus kinda suck

FWIW however is one of the worst songwriting by numbers, obvious attempt at an Oasis ballad songs I've ever heard. It should be strapped to the end of a North Korean ballistic missile never to retuen. IIHAG had a great delicate melody at its heart which was ruined by shit production.

Cool verse, some occasionally interesting drumming but this song is just junk. & I had such high hopes for this project...

I don't care about the production. the lyrics are very sugary

A strong 7. It needs a breakdown or something(not necesary to have a guitar solo, I guess the french monologue is that) for me.
FK 8 IABW 7 HM 6 STHTF ?/Can't decide until I hear the studio song

IABT 9/10 HM 9/10 FK 7/10 STHTF 7/10 (let's see after the studio version)
FWIW and Paper Crown...come on, they are Robbie Williams songs and the fact that Liam Gallagher is singing them will not change that. Most of the rest of As You Were (e.g. Bold) is much better
