Right now, a 6 for me. The live version definitely deserves higher points but I just cant get used to all that noise during the chorus. I just think this song had huge potencial but production toned it down for worse...

Definitely a 9. The spoken word bit could be cut, but other than that, it was an amazing sonic experience. I'd cut everything else and keep the French Amazing moment. I did leave Charlotte an FB message saying I love her stage presence. She replied and now I'm all starstruck. |

It had the potential to be but the mixing is so lifeless and there's no dynamics or sonic qualities to it, it never opens up and or gives a real sense of space at the vital moments. I think the production is all there, but the mixing hasn't brought it to life the way a real good mix should. |

I really wonder how people would rate Holy Mountain if Beady Eye had released it / Andy wrote it with Gem. Sounds like a bad remix of Mucky Fingers 2/10.

Here's a bit of useless trivia for you... Her first release with her band years ago was on Poptones records, which was Alan McGee's label after Creation. So Alan McGee put both her and Noel's first music out and then they end up on record together years later. |
