Bullshit. If you have heard the album even once there are one million things you could mention to prove it. And it would have take you 1% of the time it took you to write this long list of poor excuses. Who gives a shit at this point. Album is out in less than 20 days and will prob leak a few days before that. always the voice of reason.

And it would have take you 1% of the time it took you to write this long list of poor excuses. As i say, that's just your mentality to believe others couldn't have possibly be in a position or situation that you aren't. I don't have to justify anything or prove anything. I've already explained how i heard it. I could quite easily prove many things but why? I'm here for the conversation, not to justify myself or prove points. I never made a song and dance about hearing it, i mentioned it mid-sentence while making a point about other things. My focal point wasn't that i'd heard it. Others made a bigger deal about it. For me it's nothing, i've heard hundreds of albums before they're released, it's just that this one happens to be on this particular subject matter. I also heard Chasing Yesterday before it was released or leaked, so what. It's nothing special or a big deal, plenty of people heard it before I did and I just happened to hear it before you did... You can not believe it all you want but i know i've heard it and know many many other people have and in a couple of weeks, so will you, so it's not really a big deal. There must be some musical hints you could give us, though... How prominent is Marr on If Love is the Law? What type of music are the instrumentals? Does Noel really sound that different on Keep on Reaching? Do the studio versions of Beautiful World and STMHTF differ from the live ones in any way? Is the production as full on as it is on Fort Knox and Holy Mountain all the way through? ANYTHING?

Obviously many people have heard the album by now, but you are not one of them. And if you are, simply prove it. If not, how can you expect anyone here to take your arguments about anything seriously ?

Just listened for the first time.. didn't like it really, it's a nice song but there's not much to it..? it's hard to explain. Actually, apart from Fort Knox, nothing really grabbed me from the album, but of course i'm gonna wait until the release before throwing rocks, i'm sure there'll be some killers in there.

A friend that works in an Spanish music magazine got the album and he didn't let me hear the full thing but I got a sneak peek of every song. So I actually can answer to the questions:
How prominent is Marr on If Love is the Law? As much as on Ballad Of The Mighty I. There are few great riffs but with the production you really can't tell if its Johnny or a gun shooting a string.
What type of music are the instrumentals? Some of them got 80's vibes, like B&W Sunshine. Sooo many influences.
Does Noel really sound that different on Keep on Reaching? He does, but not that much. Not impressive but the voice doesn't sound like him at all. I got the same impression with HM actually at first listen.
Do the studio versions of Beautiful World and STMHTF differ from the live ones in any way? Not really. The interlude on IABW sound slightly different and the instrumental after the french speech is not on a keyboard like the performance. Is actually done with strings.
Is the production as full on as it is on Fort Knox and Holy Mountain all the way through? ANYTHING? The production is really bad. But the songs are good as far as I can tell.
And that's how much easy is to fake some news. Don't waste your time with knobheads mates, wait until the album is out! Cheers.

Even though the post is fake I think you might be right on the money here. At least, I hope that's the case cause it would sound grand.

I hope I'm right mate, strings can power up any song. And thinking of Everybody's On The Run,they use a keyboard on the string bit live,so maybe Im not that far away from the reality lol

Part of the problem is the strings aren't as prominent as they should be. Too far down in the mix. If you're going there, go all the way there.

I know the Mellotron has been utilised on the new album quite a bit too. The Mellotron is effectively a very early version of a sampler in the way it works.

Do people actually create new accounts just to bash Noel or Liam's new music?

Really shows up if you're on youtube or spotify and it comes on automatically after Noel's new songs. My god it sounds soooooooo slow and dull.

Is Holy Mountain a tune you think has bad production? For me personally, I love it - it depends how you perceive it. I see it as a glorious racket, others may see it as over produced. I'm someone who actually really loves messy wall of sound production. I'd rather Noel take the sound to breaking point than play it safe as of recent years.

It's not a production issue, just too much compression for songs that aren't balls to the wall rock.
