Idk what it says when the producer of the album just assumed it wasn’t going on the album and then Noel makes its track 1. Polar opposites of opinions. All i can tell you is if i was the producer id be saying, hey now over acquiesce? Digsys dinner over fade away? Magic fucking pie over stay young? Leave the tracklisting to me Chief. Noel had a bad habit of pissing away far superior B sides all the way up to DBTT. As much as he says SOTSOG and HC was his dry spot, where he was supposedly desperately chasing the songs, this is absolute BS when you look at the decent B sides from these 2 albums, that got hidden away. They are far better than much of what appears on the albums, and better than what would appear on DBTT and DOYS too. DBTT was the first album where the B sides were on par with the stuff that made the album - none of it being that great overall.

Actual convo............ Holmes: Do you think Holy Mountain will even make the album? Noel: Make the album? It’s gonna be the first single! Or that convo never happened and Noel made it up as a story for the press? X

He rated a Nicki Minaj song as one of the best things that came out. I'm taking this with a pinch of salt. It's not even that negative, actually.

He rated a Nicki Minaj song as one of the best things that came out. I'm taking this with a pinch of salt. Well ofc, that's just his opinion like you have yours. I saw this as a suggested video on Youtube, I know that he is very popular so I thought that I should share this with you. He is an interesting guy but I don't agree with him at least 70% of the time.

Jeez, that guy is everywhere. Is he a big deal? Somehow I've always managed to avoid his video reviews.
I'd rather listen to 20 minutes of music than to 20 minutes of a random guy telling me what he likes.

I like the song a lot more than Holy Mountain. The funny thing is when I hear this song it makes me think of Liam instead of Noel.

No, he really hasn't got a clue when he mentions afrobeat. Here's some afrobeat: Ysée's vocals on "Fort knox" would never fit on an afrobeat song. It's like saying Slash played a psychedelic solo on "Sweet child o' mine". I think it's a bit of a waste of time to hang on every word Noel says and critique it. Doesn't really matter what he says anyways. He'll never see this, and he wasn't being derogatory when he said it Isn't it a waste of time, then, to defend him? We're not here to talk to Noel or Liam or whoever directly. We're talking to each other, as fans, or music professionals, or habitual malcontents. Sometimes all three at once.

Good tune, great opener. Lot's of energy. My only complaint is the mix and alarm sound being a bit too much, but I like it more and more as I listen. I don't view it as a true "single" but more of an album teaser.

I'd rather listen to 20 minutes of music than to 20 minutes of a random guy telling me what he likes. It’s his job. He gets a lot of money from the ads that play before, during and after his videos. He needs to keep cranking them out to keep the income pouring in and he’s good at farming out the links. He also knows when to be controversial to get tons of views. He knows exactly what he is doing.

I do think the song is a bit overproduced and overcompressed actually. But I do think that for better or for worse, it's the way it is by design.

I am definitely getting a Be Here Now vibe with the production - but I think these tunes get away with it more due to the variety of instruments.

Chances this charts? 1-3%. It might chart when the album is released. Some songs on "As you were" such as "Bold" charted briefly that way.

Banthony Fucktano has some harsh words for our Noely G. Once again, disagree with him. When is experimental music EVER natural?
