Remember people complaining about Noel not acknowledging fans? Maybe try not stalking him at an airport? People need to get there heads checked, I don't really think there is an argument to say Noel isn't approachable he is just less so than Liam. He's not a total vagina, people should try approaching Van Morrison or Bob and then come back

Noel is certainly more guarded than Liam, and is more...I guess....aware of a fan/artist barrier. I think much like Liam being attacked by the press and being more aware, Noel has been directly attacked by fans twice and is less inviting. In the end, I feel like you really have to approach Noel the right way. I met Noel a few years back, politely approached him, and he was fine.

I just don't see these people as much different from anyone else. Two of my best friends are brothers, both are lovely people but if you didn't know them one is much more approachable. I'm not saying Liam and Noel are top people they might both be twats for all I know but its not some sort of catastrophe that one is more sociable or approachable with fans than the other.

I was on the Show in Bogota
He really sounded very good, a little bit of a slow start for his voice, but he was really enjoying the crowd
The new sort of dark arrangement for Riverman was cool, but not so good on the crowd
I did not imagine What a Life as a good closer, but was spectacular
One hour was very little for me, i expect to see him again soon

This might sound crazy but how do fans even know when to expect Noel or other musicians to arrive at an airport with waiting arms? Where do they get that info from? Just curious.

Yes, they've done that for decades; in a way if that's not stalking then what is? Though I guess sometimes someone from the artist/band's management or the record company gives that information to dedicated fans so that they can come & greet the star at the airport, a welcoming party is always good press & good for the spirits of the jetlagged artists.

I did that when I was younger haha. It paid off though as all of them signed my DBTT lithography and were very kind. Anyway it's not that difficult, you just have to know where the band is coming from, look at the flights and hazard a guess. It's more or less easy in Latin America because there are not that many flights from the US or Europe. For example from L.A. to Mexico City there are like 4-5 daily flights, but a couple of them are or very early in the morning or really late at night, so you eliminate those. Then it's just a case of going to the airport and waiting a few hours. Easier when you're a student.

apparently it was the band's idea, claiming they know how much football -and this match in particular- means to the people. but I'm reading a lot of angry folk on twitter, claiming they will get home at 3 or 4 am and have to work on the next day and even some people are asking for their money back

Last time Noel seemed so confident about a new record, he was coked off his tits. I don't know whether that's a good or a bad sign.

Good interview. It's not about the money - What? Where's the real Noel? 3 favorite songs ever? I can tell you what my 3 favorite songs of today. PS Person who wrote subtitles invented a new band - The Kings (The Kinks).
