Noel as arrogant as usual. He showed the same behaviour at one of his gigs that I've attended in Germany. Cocky dickhead.

remember Noel was attacked twice (1994, 2008). Yeah and Mexico isn't the safest place to be (sorry Mexicans, i still like you) unlike Seoul which is probably the safest place on earth... We still got that to counterbalance the dickhead theory... He's surrounded for security reasons

I've never gotten the appeal of waiting at an airport for an autograph. The last thing anyone wants to see is some random person with a Man City jersey trying to get an autograph that might be sold online within half an hour.
Maybe I'm glib because I've worked at a ballpark for the last few years, but there are two types of people who want autographs: genuine fans and people who are looking to make a quick buck. The last 3 years has made me super jaded in that aspect as I've seen players attacked by people who are clearly not fans. Who clearly hang around/stalk, do their research, and bring clear things that can be sold online for a ton of money (the larger the item, the great chance that it'll end up online).
I don't know if that guy above falls in that category, but I've never been too keen on that approach.

Agreed spaneli, i would be fuckin scared of those people, especially in the days we're living now, where anyone can be a crazy person with a knife or worse. Noel is not taking any risk, and rightly so.

The people hawking and trying to get to Mike Trout to sign ANYTHING was out of control. Like he was a Beatle. Old men. Little kids. Babies. Women. Grandmothers. Etc.

Noel is not taking any risk, and rightly so. They tell you not to touch Noel when he goes through the line signing stuff before the show. I still stuck out my hand out of reflex and he shook it. Then he looked at me like 'Why did I do that?" haha. I was waiting to get taken down but luckily the security dude was okay with it. Glad I don't look threatening!

I wonder what the odds are of getting The Mexican on the setlist for these shows. Not a song I listen to often, but it kicks ass live.

Walk over to the fan, shake his hand, offer a selfie. Doesn't have to sign the shirt

lol. I love people who have never dealt with this telling other people how they should handle it. I can't tell you how often I've had to tell people to shove off when trying to talk to ballplayers. Most athletes are taught to walk and ignore because most people who hang out at airports have staked that place out for reasons not including a selfie or a handshake.

But who cares, did he play a new song??
