I went to a couple of record shops this morning, but they didn't have the album yet since it's a holiday in Denmark and there were no deliveries today. I guess I'll have to wait a few days to buy it. Have you seen this?

Did not hear any of the teasers. Standouts for me - She Moves With The Fayre. Funky with a light touch. Love the jazzy horn at 2:24. At 10 seconds that could go a bit longer for me. Def my favorite. Also liking Satellite Kid, One Tear, Long Long Road, Nova.

Got the vinyl yesterday. I've been trying to avoid listening to all the stuff that's been released so far so I can listen to the whole thing fresh.
Will be giving it a spin this afternoon.

She Moves with the Fayre is defintely standing out from the rest, for me, at the moment. But I also like The Cranes are Back for its message, and One Tear for the scope of it. (I wouldn't mind hearing Paul work with Boy George again.) Oh, and Satellite Kid is cool. " People say how much has changed,/But I like today just as it is." However, as charming as Hopper is, I feel like it could've done with something else to really finish it off.

I'm really loving this album. Have been listening to it again and again since Friday. "The Impossible Idea" is my new favourite track now.

on my 2nd listen right now. so far the standout track for me has been 'long long road'. but i must say 'woo se mama' is sounding pretty damn good as well. it's hard to put a finger on the genre of the album, as (in my opinion) it keeps changing as it goes along. the best description i could give is 'a jazzy album that rocks'! got tickets to see him in october. it will be my first time seeing him play live, very excited!

I'm really loving this album. Have been listening to it again and again since Friday. "The Impossible Idea" is my new favourite track now. There's some great lyrics in that one. It's definitely his most introspective tune for quite some time, I think. And I'm guessing there'll be a bit more of that kind of thing to come, with this stripped back record he has planned for next year, already in the works... matt and Mean Mrs. Mustard: the song has drawn a lot comparisons, from critics, to the Beach Boys. I can't link a video in, as there isn't one yet, but hit it up on Spotify or something, and see what you think.

Saw a very enthusiastic review of this album on Twitter, so might even check out the rest of it.

I can hear the sonic influences of The Beach Boys, but the waltz rhythm is unique to Weller.

Never look back, don't rely on past fame and keep stepping forward. He is the "changing man" himself and I love him!

I sorta get what they mean, but I don't really hear it myself, if that makes any sense.

Cradock rocks! Long Long Road I take that Andy Lewis left Weller's band as Andy Croft is playing a bass guitar and they have a new keyboard player, theyknowwhatimean? Shame because I quite liked present setting of his band since 2008.

I can't even watch it on BBC site, but on youtube.

Love Weller's 'Aladdin Sane' zigzag badge. His wife who's a huge Bowie fan must have given it to him.
