I love this.
Noel is quite clearly pissed and/or cocked off his head. But still, at least he looks like he's having some fun. A bit more of that these days wouldn't go amiss. (the looking like he's fun bit, I mean. He should probably just leave the substance to his brother... )

From the liner notes: "The Impossible Idea" is from a title by Noel Gallagher and from his poetry anthology "The Weight of Genius" - many thanks Brother N.G.

Listening to the track 6 "Hopper" as I type. Loving "The Cranes Are Back".

First few tracks didn't do much for me, but I'm not too familiar with Paul so it'll take time to get used to what to expect. Some cool sounds, though. Will give it a few more proper listens over the weekend.

So... what're everyones first impressions? Again completely different than "Saturn Patterns", but we all knew, it's Weller. My favourite songs are Woo See Mama, Nova, One Tear, Satellite Kid and The Cranes Are Back. I absolute love The Cranes Are Back. Beautiful song. Loving Disc 2 (instrumental) as well and I'm listening to disc 3 (Remix) right now. "Satellite Kid" - Syd Arthur Remix is brilliant and I'm really curious to listen to "Woo Se Mama"- E&TC Remix as I'm a huge fan of Erland and The Carnival.

I went to a couple of record shops this morning, but they didn't have the album yet since it's a holiday in Denmark and there were no deliveries today. I guess I'll have to wait a few days to buy it.
