This is almost impossible to decide for me...::
Close My Eyes / In A Different Place Paralysed Vapour Trail Taste Today Twisterella Mouse Trap / Cool Your Boots OX4 Cali Pulsar
Not really 10 but...I could throw another 10 in there. Also, I've always been obsessed with the Sight of You cover (from the BBC sessions I think)

I can’t help but notice Mousetrap has made everyone’s list so far. I’ve always loved its frantic power chord rush but had no idea it was at all a popular song.

I've been relistening to Weather Diaries and if it wasn't for Slowdive's record it'd be the best comeback album ever from my perspective. The blend of electronica, ambient shimmering summer psychedelic pop and space rock, even some punk is astounding. The record stands neck and neck with Going Blank Again.

By the way, " Clouds of Saint Marie" featured on a free CD that came with Uncut Magazine. Here it is for your ears only, thanks to a generous anonymous source! clyp.it/gkvzmqbv

And it's great! Exactly what I'd expect from Ride at this point, even if that means following an established formula and not doing anything new or radical. Don't tell the Liam subforum, but I think I like this more than Once.

The only track I've heard is Future Love which was great, so I think I'll hold off until release and give the full LP a go.

this is what i posted over on the RIDE fan page last night carlober i kept it nice and generic you can avert your eyes now mimmihopps this IS a safe place ---- The new album is absolutely brilliant! I've just had the joy - the privilege - of listening to it. It takes me back to the psychedelic British music of my youth in the Sixtiies- with flourishes of modern electronica - in the coolest possible way...like a plugged in Carnaby Street. Definitely a leap forward from Weather Diaries, which i still love. It's more classic RIDE - as if this album was always missing from their late canon - until the band plucked it from the air along with Erol. There are several standouts; classic guitar tracks, lyrics and production so defined, yet airy. A total ensemble album. Beyond what we've already heard- the back half is particularly stellar...but there isn't a bad track. i do not think you will be disappointed. #ThisIsNotASafePlace

I'm too much hyped with this album right now, I must admit that more than Liam's or even Noel's new music... Hope it lives up to this sacrilege.

Don't believe for a second that it's better than Nowhere or Going Blank Again. However, I'm very welcome to the idea of a better record than Weather Diaries. Though WD was clearly a return to form for Ride and a brilliant comeback, for me it didn't have the same staying power as the return of the two other Gods of Shoegaze. Tbf that's a really high bar to clear: both MBV and Slowdive are very much on par with and in many ways surpass their previous output, and it's not fair to compare WD to either record. WD is a really nice album: exactly where Ride should have gone instead of Carnival of Light, but I'm always welcome to something even better.
