Peace Sign is solid and looking forward to the album, but I hadn't listened to Future Love since 2019 and it really took me back to that summer. What a single. We were robbed of proper Andy Bell material from 2000-2014. Jump Jet is another favourite of mine. It was my Summer 2019 song. Jump Jet was also a major album favorite of mine. I remember how much I thought it torpedoed This Is The Place. In This Room was their best closer since OX4! |

KEXP has premeried the next single today, Last Frontier - which is track #2 on the album. I guess it will be officially out on Friday.
Sound very Joy Division to me... it's good!

The spanish film "As Neves".
Andy share it on his instagram stories today.

By the way, TM Stores is being shittier than ever by not making released singles available to download to those who purchased the record. It's happened a few times with other albums before.
Maybe they do it to "boost" streaming... but I don't care, I want my MP3/FLACs.

I've just listened to the album... I bet a few shoegaze luddites will hate it!  After one listen I'm really liking it, it's very eclectic. Lots of synths but also lots of heavy guitars. |

I'm in love with the new album completely.
Midnight Rider is an instant classic imo.
On the other note, I'm happy that plenty of the albums tracks are better than the singles promoting it. I was afraid I wouldn't enjoy the change of the musical direction on some parts of the LP, but it's not the case. What a time to be alive 😌

Been so busy doing mixes haven't gotten a chance to listen yet. Looking forward to it. TINASP was a brilliant record and best collection of songs I heard in 2019. I still have to listen to Andy's solo output.

Portland Rocks is such a beautiful song. I'm not so experienced with Ride so, could anyone confirm who sings which songs on the album? My guess: 1. Peace Sign - Andy & Mark 2. Last Frontier - Andy (he sounds like never before here though, I didn't recognize him at first) 3. Light in a Quiet Room - Andy (I think Mark in the backing lines) 4. Monaco - Mark 5. I Came to See the Wreck -Mark 6. Stay Free - Andy 7. Last Night I Came - Andy 8. Sunrise Chaser - Mark 9. Midnight Rider - Andy 10. Portland Rocks - Andy & Mark 11. Essaouira - Mark 12. Yesterday Is Just a Song - Andy I wasn't sure about the 80's sound, but it didn't take too long to dig it, loving the album now. Last Frontier is an absolute stand out for me. |

Shocking how strong this album is. Only song I'm not really feeling is "Stay Free". And maybe "Sunrise Chaser". The rest are top notch.
