One of the most underrated Ride tracks in my opinion. A gorgeous, dreamy, layered drone. Totally agree, absolutely love that song... Thanks for sharing the video, Iβll give it a try with my guitar!

Solo track by Andy that was released as the b-side on the limited "Plastic Bag" vinyl last year... it's now available to purchase on Bandcamp! Cool stuff.

Another rework by Loz & Steve from Ride.
The original version of Chrome Waves is one of my favorite Ride tracks.

Live Streaming - Thursday 6th August 08:30 BST
From their mailinglist:
Hi everyone
We hope this finds you all well?
One of the big things we've been hearing through our social media is how much you all miss live music during the pandemic. We have some excellent news to help fill that void:
Ride will be performing a one-off show, Streamed Live From London on Thursday 6th August at 8.30pm BST. Itβll be a full set of classics and newly loved songs from 'This Is Not A Safe Place', broadcast loud and fully amped from an intimate, secret location. You have to watch online in real time as the show will not be archived.
After the set, weβll also host a live Q&A.
Tickets are priced Β£12 and go on sale today at 9am BST via Dice.
As if that wasnβt enough, weβre going to create some gorgeous limited edition t-shirts featuring exclusive reprints of classic Ride designs to commemorate the event. This collection will only be available to ticket holders, see below for a sneak preview. The photo above is by Lauren A. Krohn.
Thatβs all for now. Big love to you all,
Loz, Andy, Steve and Mark
PS - a little FYI that weβre changing our mailing list over from MailChimp to Fanbridge soon, please stay with us if youβd like to keep receiving this newsletter from βa different placeβ
Ride's gig was one of the only 2 gigs I've been to this year (another one is Liam's) and I'm so glad to got to see them. Even my better half who's never heard of Andy Bell was impressed by his guitar work. All those Andy haters, go to listen to Ride and appreciate Andy Bell as a brilliant guitarist.

I think more and more bands will do pay for stream type of gigs. Well why not, they need to work

I must admit that Ride aren't a band that I've ever really listened to. I don't know why but maybe I will one day.

They've added a couple of new dates to their Nowhere Anniversary tour, but not where I live unfortunatelly. Would love to see them again soon. I must admit that Ride aren't a band that I've ever really listened to. I don't know why but maybe I will one day. Alright. Thanks for letting us know your thoughts on this band anyway.

Anyone know if Andy did a demo of Thank You for the Good Times with him singing it? (Sorry, not specifically Ride-related but the experts are all here)

Is there, I never knew that so thanks for posting. I don't know if there's any studio demo of the song either.

Thanks, it's one of my favourite songs which Andy wrote during his Oasis days.
