I'm going to listen many thanks to you all... Is Andy the singer? (I'm listening Nowhere... wow!) Andy sometimes is the lead singer(like in Vapour Trail) but is mainly singing harmonies.

I'm going to listen many thanks to you all... Is Andy the singer? (I'm listening Nowhere... wow!) Nowhere and Going Blank Again + some b-sides/EP's, for real, you will love it! Especially: Seagull Dreams Burn Down Vapour Trail Leave Them All Behind Twisterella Mouse Trap Time Machine OX4 Today Unfamiliar Drive Blind Andy and Mark are both singers, sometimes they sing together, sometimes there is Mark or Andy solo In my opinion Ride is the most underrated band of the 90's

We've got four AMAs happening this week, including today's Tropical Fuck Storm AMA, and the second one we're announcing is Ride, who'll be joining us this Wednesday at 10 AM PST / 1 PM EST / 5 PM UTC!
The AMA is in r/indieheads anyone wants to ask something to the band?

I'd love to ask them about the next EP: Did they finish it already and if so, what's the sound comparing to TINASP

After three listens, I feel I can give my thoughts on this much anticipated record.
In short: it’s pretty good. Definitely lived up to the hype a lot of us had built up around it.
In the context of the full album, Future Love stands out as a highlight. That dreamy, wistful, slightly melancholic sound is what you go to Ride for and the lead guitar would make Johnny Marr proud.
Everything else on the album was new to me and the other song that stuck out as an immediate Ride favourite was The Clouds of St Marie. I was just floored with this song. It’s old school Ride (not to dismiss their newer sounds, more on that in a bit) and would have fit perfectly on the Today EP.
In This Room, Eternal Reoccurrence, and Jump Jet make up the rest of the top 5 for me.
I liked how their newer sounding songs incorporated very fresh sounding elements - a bit of synth, post punk, electronic, yet still maintains the classic Ride sound. Repetition reminded me of Not Fazed from GBA, I loved the atmospherics on Dial Up, and Kill Switch was definitely different from what I expected based on the title and song length. It’s an interesting piece. 15 Minutes was another interesting one that felt reminiscent of GBA in its humour. The guitar parts were great but the chorus felt a little clumsy. Quite enjoyable still.
The other songs haven’t quite made their mark yet like Shadows or End Game but there’s nothing poor or even lacklustre here. Songs all range from decent to amazing. So it’s pretty on par with The Weather Diaries at the moment.
If the stuff Noel and Liam have been coming up with this cycle feels like a C+ (6.5-7) to me, this album is definitely a strong B (7.5-8).

Everyone - the band included - seems to hate their third album. I agree, it's not very good but there are a couple gems on it, like "From Time To Time". Brilliant tune.

It's still better than Tarantula. Leckie helped them mold that 60s psychedelic rock sound they were going for. The album does feel like a Byrds tribute band record but Birdman, Moonlight Medicine and Crown of Creation are brilliant.

Both Carnival and Tarantula have their moments. Not bad records at all. Not great, but certainly not bad. If you’re looking for something to listen to, you could do far worse than Ride’s least best albums.

I also listened to TINASP today, and I love it even more than I did a month ago after it first came out.
Future love Clouds of saint Marie Eternal recurrence In this room Jump jet
These make up my top 5 but there’s not a weak on the record. Best album of the year for me.

I decided to listen to it again after seeing your post and felt the same way. I think it just keeps getting better and better once you get familiar with the songs. I think this type of music in general needs more time before you really start appreciating it fully. The first listen is always interesting but it can be hard to remember/notice the differences in each track that make them stand out because they can be something quite subtle.
