Yeah. I highly, highly doubt this is gonna happen... Every major band reissues their back catalogues over time. The Stones, Bowie, Led Zep, Radiohead etc. It will be no different with Oasis, while: - Us existing fans are there to be milked from buying the same albums again - New younger fans are to be won over by the interest generated from reissues

I've said this so many times on here. With the reissues we had before its 'more' about regeneration than 'fan service' .. Now kids can buy the first 2 albums with the b sides and live tracks cheaply instead of tracking down 20 year old defunct singles like we did at the time etc

BHN has taken long enough. I doubt we get it this year with the Knebworth DVD/Blu-Ray/CD coming out in August. Then it makes sense to hold BHN reissue back to August 2017 so it's the 20th anniversary and could potentially generate some buzz. Who knows.

There's an mp3 of an in-studio radio session for a Chicago Station, Q101 from April 2000. I think that's the closest we got to a studio recording. I think a Giants reissue would be great. There are a few demos on the tapes / CD we saw a couple of years ago which aren't circulating. Full On For One So Young One Way Road One Way Road (Wrong Key) Teothuacan There are 2 alternate mixes of I Can See A Liar on an extremely rare promo CD which have never surfaced. There are also the tracks Liam supposedly attempted in Sunday Morning Call and Where Did It All Go Wrong? I still think Liam would also have taken a run at Full On as its his kind of song. Although they were written and recorded in the Giants demo sessions I'd think the demos or any alternative versions of Little By Little, Force of Nature, Just Getting Older may get held over for a Heathen Chemistry reissue, possibly the first Let There Be Love acoustic demo for Don't Believe The Truth too. Yeah some offical giants and don't believe the truth demos would be great mate. You most likely already know this, but just in case you don't: quite a few demos from the SOTSOG and DBTT sessions have been officially or semi-officially released. Go Let it Out (Virgin Megastore in-store promo CD, minus the Austin Powers quote) Gas Panic! (Japanese CD single of Who Feels Love?) Just Getting Older (The Hindu Times b-side version is more or less identical to the demo) Carry Us All (alternate demo hosted on the producer's website) Fuckin' in the Bushes - I'm not sure if one or more of the demos found their way on to 12" promos) Lyla (DVD single) Let There Be Love (DVD single) The Importance of Being Idle (DVD single) Lord Don't Slow Me Down (movie credits version)

For SOTSOG there isn't too much we'd get apart from For One So Young + Full On etc demo that we haven't already heard.
Doubt they'd put out a Liam version of WDIAGW/SMC as if they weren't good enough at the time...
We'll probably get a DBTT reissue at somepoint I reckon, Noel likes that one, and absolutely tons was recorded for it. Might even get the Death in Vegas tracks.

Proposal: let's only resume this discussion after we've fully digested the BHN reissue.

I think a SOTSOG reissue has a lot going for it and I'd prefer that over any other Oasis album post 2000.

In fact there is already a DOYS boxset which includes lots of b-sides/remixes.

dont really hold out much hope for great extras on this one should they announce "put your money where your mouth is" project as weve probably heard all the demos for this album, LAMB demo only came out not long ago.
seems to me like DBTT is the only one that might hold a lot of extras with the DIV sessions etc.
HC will probably have the hindu times demo etc, already heard quite abit from post 2000s oasis.

They pulled out two completely new unheard songs for Be Here Now, so who knows what is in the vaults for the other albums.

Didn't they record around 30 songs for Dbtt? That's definitely the post 90s reissue I'm looking forward to the most. It's also the point in time in which I got into Oasis, a brilliant time for me.

I wouldn't be suprised if many songs of them ended up on NGHFB, CY, DGSS and BE.

Leave SOTSOG as it is. It's the best sounding Oasis record and doesn't need remastering. We also have plenty of demo's and live stuff from that era too. It's probably my favourite Oasis album because of its brilliance and it's flaws.
