The last time we doubted Radiohead they delivered In Rainbows. True, but that album was recorded over ten years ago now. Similar parallels can be drawn. Radiohead were coming off a very mixed bag effort with Hail To The Thief. Thom started releasing solo material and a mixed results album. Kinda mirrors what has transpired lately with King of Limbs being a mixed bag and Thom's so-so solo output. In 2007 Radiohead struck back with In Rainbows. Can they do it again in 2016? We will find out in about 3 months.

I actually have come to terms with HTTT. Its obviously scatterbrained (no pun intended), and it comes after a fairly underwhelming record in Amnesiac. HTTT just needed to be trimmed down to 10-11 songs. There There, Sail to the Moon, Wolf at the Door, A Punchup at a Wedding, and 2 + 2 = 5 are all some of my favorite Radiohead tracks. Album deserves a little bit more love, its not great nor is it "very" good, but its a good record that obviously laid the foundation for In Rainbows.

Travis - Everything at Once
Travis were one of the first bands I got into. They've got some pretty great albums (12 Memories is so underrated!!), and The Man Who is one of my favorite records of all time. Unfortunately, their last album, though it had its moments, sounded generic in places, and was pretty much their millionth rewriting of The Man Who. It was a bit like Keane's Strangeland (which was released about the same time): the same old formula, but without any sense of adventure, though with a bit more maturity. In other words, dad rock.
But the jittery, synth-dominated craziness of the title track raised my hopes about this album, that it would be new ground for Travis. That song alone was better than the entirety of Where You Stand. But then I heard 3 Miles High, the second single, and it sounded like a b-side from the Where You Stand era. Which worries me once again. Is this gonna be an electronic album, something more experimental, with a fresh attitude and feel unseen since 2003's 12 Memories? Or will it be yet another unbearably lazy and dreadful carbon copy of The Man Who? Guess we'll have to wait until April to find out.

I found that at first too but Fossa is probably my favourite song on the album now! I think it's pretty consistent the whole through until Made of Stone, which is just sort of there and doesn't really add anything.

Daughter's albums is pretty decent. A bit repetitive but I do like "New Ways".
Nice that Elena Tonra (italian descent) used an italian word like 'Fossa' for a song. It means pit/ditch

If you are into Tame Impala or Temples
I don't know if it's new or if they plan to release an album, it's a dutch band. Clash Magazine posted it today as "Track of the Day"

I've seen them twice and the first time when I saw them in 2013 they supported Temples. Their debut album was just in November 2015.

lamboasis, this is my favourite song by Pauw. Anyone know when the new Travis album might appear? At the moment, just the new single is out and album is 2016 sometime. Maybe someone knows or has heard somethign. "Everything at Once" will be released on 29th April. They released a new song this week called "3 Miles High". Good news! Hopefuly they'll tour in mainland of Europe too. I was going to see them in late 2013, but they cancelled due to Fran's voice problem.

AKA Cast meets Oasis. What's funnier is that they're from Glasgow.

An awesome tune about banging underage girls.

Looking forward to the new SULK album. I saw these lads supporting The Charlatans back in 2008, when they were called The Ruling Class. They were a real throw back. They renamed themselves as SULK and their debut album, Graceless, was really good in my opinion.
