Now there are a few big releases scheduled for 2016, let's start a-speculating.
I'm looking forward to: - The Coral getting back together. - Beck's new album. I loved the single Dreams. - Bowie's new album. Sounds suitably mad. - Massive Attack. Hoping to catch them at a festival next summer, great live act. - Primal Scream, Chaosmosis. - Tool (has it really been a decade since 10,000 Days!?) - Oasis - Be Here Now Reissue (Hahahahahahaha...)

Really looking forward to Daughter's new album in January. I'd imagine the likes of The National, Sigur Ros, Future Islands, White Lies, The XX, Wild Beasts etc will have new stuff out so looking forward to that. Hopefully Arcade Fire and Bon Iver as well but I'm not expecting them.

With releaseing their new album, The National, The Coral, The Last Shadow Puppets and (hopefully) Sigur Ros, 2016 will be a great musci year too!

Richard Ashcroft & Stone Roses should there be a new album.
New band called Blossoms should be releasing one too.

Still looking forward to Kanye's album that kicked off the 'albums your looking forward to in 2015' thread... Kanye is scared. He is no spring chicken and with each passing album, his sales and musical footprint in the industry is shrinking. I'm also under the belief his marriage to a Kardashian is in part to keep his name always in the spotlight because that family is a machine in branding and pop culture dominance. Much like Bono, Kanye wants/needs to be liked by everyone in the rap/hip-hop community.

Listening to Richard Ashcroft's first solo album now, hoping he'll have something nice for us in 2016.

Completely agree, there other EP's are very good too. 2016 should be a good year for them.

What about AM? What are they doing atm? The drummer is about to be a father and Alex is finishing up the second Last Shadow Puppets album I dont think we'll hear from the monkeys until 2017 at the earliest.

I'm quite up for another Last Shadow Puppets album, actually. Loved the first one. And it's not easy for me to say that - Miles Fame is irritatingly average in every way and Turner gets on my tits - but I loved the retro, cinematic sound of it. And with Turner on songwriting duties, there's sure to be some absolute choons on it.

For the record, I'm not sure I could be friends with anyone who wouldn't want Bowie's erect wang splashed across their sleeve...

The National have been playing random dates and mini tours the last 2 years. Doesn't mean new material is ready.
