Man, I love that Noel has made so much of being solo. Two great albums, loads of collabs, interviews, keeping in the public eye, what a legend.

Would be great to hear him just provide a scathing running commentary on a track or the whole record as Chris Martin plays some more faux world questioning MOR in the background  Could call it "Critique of Modern Life" maybe to keep in line with Coldplay titles?  |

A Noel/Coldplay tune could be huge if done right.
They'll probably piss it up though and only have Noely do backing vocals.

He likes U2 and Coldplay more because their sense of melody and songwriting structure is similar to his own. If a band doesn't have a tune or melody, he isn't interested it seems. |
