I certainly don't mind Noel contributing to a Coldplay record but sharing the "bill" with Beyonce and Rihanna and who knows what else? Not somethign I'd be advertising if I were Noel. But whatever, it doesn't matter really.

#SellOut Liam is going to have a field day with this one, innit. Presumably followed by #shitbag when Noel gives with a cutting response via the mainstream rather than social media As for those # God bless you Beady’s Here Now for giving me the opportunity to deploy yet another crap meme

#SellOut Liam is going to have a field day with this one, innit. Liam should be asking himself why he isn't featuring on anybody's album. His vocal is his biggest (only) asset after all. Besides, I dont quite see what Noel is "selling out" here ?? He's most likely just helped with a bit of backing vocals.

What do you mean "selling out"?
Oasis sold nearly 80 million records. Noel himself has sold a few million. Their ambition was to be the biggest band in the world, so what's all this bullshit about "selling out"?

It's usually men in their 40s with mod haircuts and bucket hats (not in this case of course) who like to claim Noel Gallagher is a "sellout"
The thing is, he likes Coldplay and he and Chris have alwaya been friends, so it's not like he jumped on the bandwagon for a bit of popularity, he's just appearing on the album of a band he LIKES

I don't think I'm comfortable with the idea of Noel playing on the same album as Beyoncé.

I find it hilarious that some people hold a grudge against Noel mingling with the mainstream, when in fact he once defined the mainstream.

I like your reasoning. It just seems like a good time for him to do some guest appearances, seems like an obvious choice ...if he wants to continue doing music at all that is... Who knows....

Keeping it Dangerous...hahahaha.[/quote Sir Elton doesn't deserve to be included with that sad lot. Tiny Dancer, Crocodile Rock. And his husband is Canadian! Reg is a good and talented guy. Always raising money for AIDS and other charities. He has my respect.
