"All for one, one for all" is the line from my all time favourite novel "Loneliness of The Long Distance Runner" by Alan Sillitoe. "All for one, one for all. Together we stand, divided We fall". It's my most favourite novel since my teenage years and it never let me down. Back to the topic, I've seen the Roses twice and I don't regret that I'm not going to see them again next month. its also from the 3 musketeers, as some one put above.. Dogtanian maybe noel stole the nan nan nahs too

Beady Eye have written better stuff than this fodder. All for One is a bit like Iz Rite: catchy but not in a good way... I have never liked Iz Rite, this isn't as good as quite a few BE songs to me but then again I rate some of there songs quite highly. Olly Murs must have done something better than IIHAG and TDOTL. I still think they were written by the 'Noel Gallagher's Music Maker(TM) Never heard anything by Olly Murs so I can't tell. But I've heard enough from Beady Eye to say that All for One is as bad as Iz Rite (second worst track on BE in my book)... and that it would be far from the highlights even on DGSS. Now please stop behaving like the whole world is plotting against Beady Eye

I also love the fact that people have found a new way to bash Beady Eye through a Stone Roses song after a couple of people on twitter said it . The sound is unmistakably Squire to me. Can't wait for Olly Murs to release his next plodding ballad so I can say how much it sounds like one of Noel's plodding ballads. On the money as usual, Tom. No great lover of Beady Eye myself, but this had to be said, and you said it well. Great post. Now I'm off to climb out your arse. Toodle-oo!

I'm really not, just pointing out that a few people say it on twitter and then it gets picked up by others regardless of the worth of it. Ian Brown check, John Squire check. Sounds like the Roses to me although maybe we should just compare it to a band of less quality because we don't like the tune. Haha anyway I feel like I'm defending a song I just think is alright anyway.

I don't know, it instantly reminded me of stuff like Millionaire (and I quite like Millionaire), Wind Up Dream (no, I don't like Wind Up Dream) and DBTT-era Oasis (A Bell Will Ring anyone?), then I read that many others shared the same thoughts... so maybe it's not just me? The riff does sound like something Johnny Squire would play but it's the overall mood of the song that I'm talking about. It would fit quite nicely among the non-highlights tracks from DGSS or DBTT. Which are pretty poor.

Short as it is, is Squire face meltingly good.

I'm not really getting the Beady Eye comparisons. I'm guessing BE will be far superior to the Roses new album.

The lyric about making a wall makes me wonder if Trump commissioned this song from the Roses for his rallies.

It had to begin somewhere, if this is really is the best song they recorded it's a shame. I hope the rest of the LP is better, they deserve way better than this.

Had few more listens and yeh it is still pretty awful to be blunt. Really weak song (Bside stuff) and the lyrics are just mindnumbingly bad. Even Noel would probably wince at them. Anyone know who produced it ? As it sounds crap as well.

I wish he repeated 'All for one, one for all' instead of that join hands wall line.
