Whoo, this was disappointing. Can't believe we've been waiting for THIS for all these years. I find it boring, the lyrics are appalling and yes, it does sound like some shit Beady Eye song Andy came up with. Expected much better. I could imagine Andy, Gem and Liam wearing their shades and pouting and strutting their stuff on stage to this with no hint of irony whatsoever. What I can't imagine is the Roses doing this - but that is the reality of it.  |

I really like certain aspects of it, its just not amazing as an entire song, its ok...that "if we all hold hands and we'll form a wall" just feels too forced.

It's a nice song and the guitar in it is lovely. It's just not exactly the kind of mindblowing song one would have expected after THAT major buildup. Actually, having also just heard the Manic's football song for Wales, it could almost be the Roses' EM song, with those lyrics.

One cool riff by Squire, that's the one thing that stands out. Very underwhelming to say the least.
It does sound a fucking lot like something that Andy would write. And no, I'm not talking about the Ride-era Andy Bell, I'm talking about the Andy Bell who wrote songs like Wind Up Dream and Kill for a Dream.

Actually sounding like a Beady Eye b side isn't a bad thing as that includes most of their best stuff. At least it doesn't sound like something Liam wrote.

Music is alright, riff from Squire is great. Lyrics are appallingly bad.
Totally get where people are coming from saying it sounds like Beady Eye, was my first thought as soon as I heard the first two lines haha.

After a few more listens: yeah, the chorus is catchy but it still sounds like a jingle for an ice cream advert. Or a spray deodorant for men.
Squire's guitar needs to be turned up a bit... that's the real highlight of the song imho. He's using some cool effects (I hear a flanger somewhere) but they're a bit buried in the poppy mix.
