Looking forward to getting stuck into the album this weekend. Not listening to the radio I hadn't really heard Everything Now but fuck me what a tune. The catchiest thing I've heard for some time but thats not to say its shallow. The opening piano could be Elton or ABBA, then that funky baseline building towards a 80's disco chorus, it has so many familiar pieces and yet feels unique. Wonderful song (will probably hate it in two weeks ) Tell me more...............

Didn't touch this album since it was released and I don't plan to listen to it ever again. No point really.
Good thing is, like with Kasabian, their live shows keep getting better, it doesn't matter how shit their albums are, there are always few great songs and when they add them to live show with old ones, we get great result.

Everything Now, Creature Comfort, Electric Blue, Put Your Money on Me, and We Don't Deserve Love would all comfortably make it onto my "Best of Arcade Fire". That's half the album right there.

Caught Arcade Fire at the Garden last night. My second time seeing them there, both sold out shows. Fantastic time. New material fits seamlessly into older tunes. Highly recommend a gig. * Not my videosGoing Saturday night. My daughter is very excited. It’s their third show in three nights though. Hope they have enough energy and their voices. Don’t have great seats but it’s a small arena.

I can't help but cringe at the person interviewing him, not only does he not seem to "get it" and there aint that much to get but it sounds like his questions are worded for someone interviewing Apple about the new iphone.

Still a brilliant album for me. The reaction puzzles me, in years to come I'm sure I'll be rating this as one of the most underrated albums by a top act.

Still a brilliant album for me. The reaction puzzles me, in years to come I'm sure I'll be rating this as one of the most underrated albums by a top act. Just listening to my Chemistry-less version and it really is a very, very, very good album. Everything Now, Creature Comfort, Electric Blue, Put Your Money on Me, and We Don't Deserve Love are all top-drawer, and then Signs of Life, Peter Pan, and Good God Damn support them nicely. Infinite Content is okay and the openers and closers are lovely. The problem is, unlike the first four, it's not quite great, and it doesn't really stand out from their discography. It basically feels like a less ambitious Reflektor, and it needs one more top-level track in the middle to tie the whole thing together. Easily their weakest record, but still really good. I think if their next one is a "return-to-form", people will look at it in a much more positive light, when it no longer carries the weight of The Last Arcade Fire Album. Same thing happened with The King of Limbs. My personal ranking: 1) The Suburbs 2) Reflektor 3) Funeral 4) Neon Bible 5) Everything Now

Awesome cover and special guest Tonight.......... Jarv still looking great. Still thrusting those hips--ha, god love him. A true pop star. It's good of Arcade Fire to invite these people up to give their crowds something a little different each night. Saw a video of them backing Chrissie Hynde for the Pretenders' 'Don't Get Me Wrong', the other night, and it was very sweet to see how much they were all enjoying playing that great tune with her.

I've been with this band since the very start, seeing them in little clubs in NYC and Hoboken, seeing them keep rising and rising and rising up to extreme heights. I've been with them through thick and thin. However, their last LP Everything Now was the first let down in their careers from my personal perspective. Its odd too because when I think back on that album from two years ago I love many of the tracks. Everything Now, Signs of Life, Creature Comfort, Put Your Money On Me and We Don't Deserve Love. All brilliant material. I suppose the middle of that album is rather soggy. Not a fan of Peter Pan, Chemistry or Infinite Content (although I do fancy the country twang version). I also enjoyed seeing them at MSG on that tour. Always a great live experience. It was funny to see them attempt an arena tour coast to coast. They aren't that big and they struggled like hell to fill those arenas outside the big markets. Perhaps its the way they promoted it that entire summer and beyond. That whole fake news every day thing the band was doing on its social media was too much in my opinion and fatigue set in fast. Them tricking the media by planting false stories about themselves and the fake twitter bot they had were just boring after awhile. Keep it simple guys. Just make great music. I'd like to see them scale it back in terms of their media visibility. I also think an extended break is now called for.

Don’t care what anyone says, I love Everything Now.
For sure, not close to Funeral, Suburbs and Reflektor (and probably Neon Bible) but still a worthy addition and a very good album.
