I like them, problem with 1st album is that it's too overproduced, it's too metallic and trebly, it needs more wood and earth... too much treble, too wet.
Second album is ok but it lacks something, all songs are flying low all the time, they never acquire mass, momentum, body, they are a bit thin...
My fav BE songs are Evil eye, off at the next exit, millionaire, in a bubble with a bullet, and some rocker tune in DGSS...

FUCK OFF YOU NOEL FANBOYS No okay,I don't like DGSS at all,bar 4 or 5 songs (Four Letter Word,The Roller,The Beat Goes On,Millionaire,The Morning Son),but I think BE it's pretty good and I still listen to it from time to time, yeah they lack something when it comes to songwriting, but their music is still enjoyable And I saw them live and loved every second of it,so yes,I like Beady Eye Not as much as Noel though

I'd take Beady Eye over Noel any day. The barrowlands was exceptional.

It's in Scotland. That makes sense Words can't really describe it. SS's description is your best bet. I've said it before and i'll say it again...LG owns the Barrowlands.

beady eye were top notch for me, had BE been released first I think we wouldve seen a much brighter direction for the band, it would of been up there with HFB first album but people switched off when they heard DGSS which is a crying shame imo.
part of me thinks they shouldve done a 3rd album, they almost had it cracked but then again with the massive decrease in sales for BE compared to DGSS I can see why Liam might not of had much motivation for it.

Yes, I think both albums are very good, especially BE. It's a shame we won't hear a third.

Why the hell did Beady Eye play O2 ABC in Glasgow rather than Barrowlands on their last tour? Madness. There's magic and heritage to the Barrowlands.

The ABC gig was an album promotion, you could only get tickets if you bought the album direct. They played the Barras a couple of months later. I went to both and they were cracking gigs, especially the Barras, both Liam and Andy we're loving it.

Yes. BE's gigs were more exciting than Noel's solo ones. ( I mean, really, Snow Patrol?!?!?! Plus the other opening act,in the US at least, was pretty damned emo. Mona I think was their name. Anyways, both were zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz) Yeah, DGSS was lacking, but I feel they definitely made up for it with BE. BE was definitely a step in the right direction for them. And I'm still pissed they never did a US tour for it.

I like a few songs....I just find most of their hardcore fan base insufferable. Thanks. Yeah, they're the same as that Tom Brady mob.

I feel like an anomaly in the Beady Eye fanbase - I get the feeling that anybody else with my level of loyalty to them has a wardrobe full of Pretty Green "clobber" and an "at least you tried" Liam haircut. Neither of which I have. Haha you really aren't. Did you get see them live? Always a few lookalikes but by no means a majority.

I've never seen such a major quality difference beetwen Beady Eye and NGHFB to be honest. Of course Noel had more songs, but that's obvious, he better have.. To me, both projects were enjoyable, i listened as much DGSS and BE as NGHFB. I was actually a bit dissapointed by NGHFB cause i obviously expected too much, whilst Beady Eye had a lot of fun rock n roll tunes like Four Letter Word, Milionaire, The Roller etc which were even more of my cup of tea than What A Life or Death Of You And Me. I 've seen them live during BE tour and they were kickass. Very cool live band, great sound and what a fuckin psycho Liam is on stage sometimes that's unbelievable. A fuckin' charismatic frontman, no doubt about that.
The thing with Beady Eye is that both Liam and a lot of Oasis fans tend to dramatize things too much.. They were alright, could have carry on, make a third record. They were a decent rock n roll band.
