All this poor atmosphere stuff, people gotta understand when you attract a 30+ crowd on the most part, unless its Friday or Saturday, majority will not be slaughtered. Just tired after a days work, dealing with family and finally getting out and not drinking as your up at 7am next morning for work etc..
Not everyone like me had the luxury of taking two days off, and getting blutered for both NG concert and my birthday!
The younger bands will have a far more student, young worker following who will get tanked anyhoo and go into work/uni half dead.
Watch the weekend gigs and see the change in atmosphere.

I'm gonna cry like a baby in Champagne Supernova, but how Tim Smith is awful.

I'm not satisfied with Wrong Beach opening. There is no track better than Do the Damage (or EOTR) to open, it is simple. Maybe it would be great opening the encore, but not the night. The song almost ends the first record and usually ended the 1st part of the gigs on the last tour, is hard to see it on the other side. Going on past record, you'll have a good 9 years to get used to it before he tries out a new one. You may change your mind. I love Wrong Beach, and it's still much better than IGTBF, but I'd like another song to open the gig. Let's see if he'll change the setlist again, the set without order is awesome.

Agree 100%. One of the weakest tracks on NGHFB and it puzzles me why he includes it at all, let alone opens with it. Don't wanna moan though, the rest of the setlist is great, bar AKA What A life which I've never really enjoyed live. Can't wait for the O2 even though I'm already gearing myself up for the atmosphere being poor. What is it about the O2 atmosphere being poor? You're not the first one saying that.. is it the cold weather, the venue, the fans or what? That was my first ever time seeing any Oasis related folk. I was going mental from start to finish!

Agree. He's doing what he's asked to do and I don't see him making mistakes. I'm frustrated with some of the musicianship and arrangements (especially when compared to how Beady Eye got it together before Gem's injuries) but that's all on Noel.

There is no comparison between what Gem usually did with The Masterplan on Oasis and with Tim is doing. Tim is very able and I'm enjoying his job with Noel, but Gem did something magical, very special. Tim is playing these songs with a different arrangement from what we used to listen on Oasis, but I think he's going very well.

Hmmm sorry to hear we've lost one the gems from this setlist... I do love Broken Arrow, but its been played every single gig from last tour... I know many says he should play less Oasis but there are too many phenomenal tunes from the old days to be brought back...

was at the gig last night... was great as usual.. crowd was really into it. the masterplan nearly blew the roof off the place! unreal.. on another note the only disappointment was digsy's dinner, i like the song but noels live version last night was really poor i thought. that was the only minor complaint tho! great gig, there was much love for the ballad of the mighty i!!

always liked Tim, and he got better this tour without a doubt, but NOBODY should ever touch Noel's guitar on Champagne Supernova.
and ALMOST nobody should sing that song but Liam.

and ALMOST nobody should sing that song but Liam. Why is this? Did you even see Oasis live towards the end? Liam could barely sing that song anymore. The way he used to screech the "..don't know WHY" sounded truly horrendous. Liam pre-2000 did indeed sound awesome singing Champagne Supernova. But once his voice went, I couldn't stand that song live. At least Noel doesn't sound like he's dying when singing it.

...Let's see if he'll change the setlist again... There might be one or two slight alterations, but Noel's too lazy to change much. We're pretty much stuck with this setlist for the rest of the tour.

Disappointed at losing alone on a rope but he might keep chopping and changing to what he thinks fits. I guess it means it still remains a rarity. Played twice? It might make a comeback some day... but if not, I can say I saw both live performances of it

I have absolutely no problem with the setlist, but can I not be satisfied by this without any girlies being offended? I'm asking you.. WHY IS THIS?!

I was at the gig few rows from the front , to be honest the first few numbers had a dead enough atmosphere , then in the heat of moment woke it up abit , by the time champagne supernova came around it was buzzing , the crowd were in full voice and around then until the end it was great , as usual don't look back in anger was amazing , aka what a life was good aswell and masterplan was unreal ! Not bad for an early gig so close to the album release , and Noel seemed pleased with the crowd ! He just announced today he's comin back to Ireland to play cork in July I will be going as it's my hometown ! Cannot wait !

It was a fairly mixed crowd, and the older lads like myself were fairly going at it to be fair with the drinks, I was fairly hungover but I did book the next day in work off. The bars all night were busy right up to the end (well the encore when the bars shut). The atmosphere was great and was laid back and I only saw one or two dragged out by the security. But I didn't see any guys around my age (I'm 33) holding back on the drink.

I felt some were there expecting Noel just to play Oasis songs and nothing from his solo albums, I thought the atmosphere did pick up when he played the Oasis tunes but I loved that he played most of the solo stuff (I'm a big fan of it) and didn't out right pander to them, smart move to leave some of his bigger solo songs until near the end. I wasn't disappointed at all and had a blast. He was on fine form.
