DLBIA, Mighty I and The Masterplan might be the best songs Noel has ever written, and he's ending the concert with those. Interesting.
That could be the most epic three-song run I've seen in a setlist, ever.

Well, I was 17 in 2005, first year of college.. so not much older than you I think.. maybe 4 years? haha I was 11 then, I guess. Listening to Eiffel 65 (I'm blue dabededabedie), oh my Oh dear, do I remember that song. I'm older than you and I certainly remember that song being played ad nauseam on the radio. I feel incredibly old when I realize I remember things like Kurt Cobain's death, Oasis first being on the radio, and making actual mixtapes! Alone on the Rope is a beautiful song. Maybe Noel will try switching back and forth between that and Broken Arrow?

We could join forces and spam Noel's instagram with demands for the return of Alone On The Rope Let's spam Noel's instagram with some of the forum's acronyms. Imagine that, he'll think we're sending him cryptic spy messages of some sort. "What the fuck is this? AOTR and BA? DYKWIM?" Then it'll be like the time when he thought he'd fired off a missile from his laptop (that Graham Norton interview from 2011 when he found out the FBI or CIA was in his hotel). Except this time, he'll think that Instagram is a secret underground cabal. Noel's smart though, he'll figure out our acronyms soon enough.

AOTR is a good song but it probably put the audience to sleep.

AOTR is a good song but it probably put the audience to sleep. Yeah it is a great song but not suited to being played at arenas.

If we had this technology back in 2005 we would've been able to listen to Heashrinker live from the Astoria in London. They only played it once, so I wonder if Liam murdered the song.. What?! I know it was played back in 94/95.. but after those early years they only played it in Astoria in 2005 (first gig of the DBTT tour)

Times (and tastes) have changed thankfully And who's to blame? The Gallaghers (mainly). Thanks for that! And let's have a quiet moment for Alone on The Rope:

^ as much as I love AOTR, it doesn't fit an arena concert.. Yeah I agree, I think that maybe there is just not enough people there who know the song. I saw many many people just chatting and not paying attention to it in Belfast.

Looks like Bono and The Edge were at the gig? The third tweet is from a woman who is part of the Crouch End Choir, and the choir confirmed it:

Seems like a quick scroll through twitter shows that a lot of people left the Dublin gig very happy. Here's a random tweet:

I'm glad he took out alone on a rope. Quite boring song for a big concert. It would sound better with an acoustic guitar on the radio.
And it always reminded me as a Dallas Green (city And colour) song

For me he should change out Shout It Out Loud for Broken Arrow. I hope he keeps AOTR. It is atmospheric and I think an amazing song.
He will change up the set list again for sure though, certainly with the festival gigs. Maybe then is a good time to bring out DTD? Gives people a chance to listen to the album, plus it's a stomper & would suit a smaller set list.
Bring on Glasgow!
