We get videos and updates of the gig so quickly these days that we're almost live at the gig (temporal speaking of course) that it makes me feel both excited and disconcerted (if that's the right vocabulary) at the same time. If we had this technology back in 2005 we would've been able to listen to Heashrinker live from the Astoria in London. They only played it once, so I wonder if Liam murdered the song.. In 2005 I had just left elementary school But you lot probably would have witnessed it Now I feel really young...which is not as bad as feeling old, but nevermind.

I know Broken Arrow's quite popular on here but I'd much rather see Alone on the Rope.

Fuck, I'm happy to see that Broken Arrow is back but I wanted Alone on the Rope to stay.
I'd have AOTR anyday over Dream On or Digsy's...

It's great that we have Broken Arrow back, but it's a shame that he taken down Alone On The Rope for it.

I know Broken Arrow's quite popular on here but I'd much rather see Alone on the Rope. I'd probably say Broke Arrow is my favourite of the first album, but I've already seen it live twice and Alone On The Rope is much more special for me and close to my heart, I'm actually a bit sad now

Disappointed at losing alone on a rope but he might keep chopping and changing to what he thinks fits. I guess it means it still remains a rarity. Played twice?

As long as he keeps champagne supernova in until at least the O2 gig next week I'm not fussed what else he plays.
Hell, he can even open with igtbf as long as I see champagne supernova acoustic

Played twice? exactly, he might not be happy again so things may change again yet. I find it strange that Do the Damage not been put in, after he was saying great live etc

Well, he could do minor alterations every gig... but he is Noel after all, so probably not.

Just came back from the bar and I find Alone on the Rope has been tossed. Oh well. I understand Broken Arrow fits better in that slot, but he shouldn't remove AOTR. He should swap that one with another one from the main part of the gig.

Disappointed at losing alone on a rope but he might keep chopping and changing to what he thinks fits. I guess it means it still remains a rarity. Played twice? That's probably the only positive aspect about it. That now it's been replaced, it means it will stay a loved gem for the die hard fans like us and unknown to the casual mob. Actually, this doesn't make so much sense rationally thinking, but I sometimes have these romantic ideas that a song close to my heart shouldn't be too popular Still, Noel's management, if you're reading this: Let Noel know I'd be very glad if it returns to the setlist in Germany, thank you. Well, fuck it. JUST PUT IT BACK IN THE SETLIST FOR THE WHOLE TOUR!

Obv Bootlegs been about forever but 95 oasis were in prime and silver pressed bootlegs were ways for people to print money. So was worth doing. I bet 100% there is a copy of headshrinker from 05 out there but as it was the only time they played it at that point people won't share Obv now anyone and everyone can capture decent footage and have it online in minutes

Well, he could do minor alterations every gig... but he is Noel after all, so probably not. It's also only the 2nd show of the tour. I am really disappointed that AOTR has been dropped, but he may be just testing things to see what works right now. Hopefully he doesn't stay as rigid as he usually is with a tour setlist.

So What A life and ballad of the mighty I were swapped? I wouldn't have thought that would work better for some reason. I saw Noel last night and thought that what a life was brilliant with everybody buzzing off of Don't Look Back In Anger. I think it was good to have a more upbeat song in that position. Saying that I have no idea how the mighty I sounded in that slot so that's not to say it worked even better.

It's a decent song and I'm not unhappy he's playing, would just rather see Alone on the Rope for something different. Might ask him at the album signing in Glasgow on Saturday if he'll play it.
