(How there's not a thread about this one?) What do you think? It's my favorite of the album, up there with Riverman. This song is so smooth, it makes me chill every time I give it a spin! Yooooooou and Iiiiiii...

I'm listening to it again. "You and I got the Right Stuff" is really amazing to hear. Imagine being a in a smoky jazz club in New Orleans during the 60s and having ray band shades on. It's probably the most immersive track on the album.

Best track on the album, I really hope Noel is brave enough to release it as a single.

The beginning reminds me of an Incubus song. Dont really care for the harmonizing but when
Kicks in the song really improves IMO

I'd imagine a lot of the AA album would sound like the intro to "The Right Stuff" which would have been fine to me. Granted they probably took it further into left field but who knows.

Class song. A type of song that you can hear in a good steak house or in a famous restaurant.

Doesn't sound anything like a typical Noel Gallagher song which is really interesting and brilliant to hear. Hope this is just the great beginning to a more adventurous Noel Gallagher, but then some of you guys probably said that when SOTSOG came out. It's important that this album is a success - critically and commercially to bring Noel out of his musical shell in a way SOTSOG couldn't.

wow. this is exactly the reason why i cant say this album is perfect.this is a proof that noel could record an album that would surprise even haters... album, where each song doesnt sound like from different universe, but it has one sound, one atmosphere...beautiful

This is Chasing Yesterday's Columbia. A brilliant groove, an infectious refrain of 'You and I got the right stuff' and another great bit of sax towards the end. One of my favourites.

Amazing track. Sounds like a jazzed-up Spiritualized tune. The girl singing with Noel has such a lovely voice, I hope she returns in the future.

By the way, everybody's talking about the sax at the end and I'm pretty sure that's a bass clarinet. A very underrated instrument. Sorry for being pedantic

I just played this track to a mate and he said it sounds like Miles Davis crossed with Beck, bootiful.

Maybe @bonkersyesitsme could tell us who the fine girl is. Her backing vocals are brilliant Here she is during the recording of the Right Stuff:

The way it was being touted before, I thought this would have a load of mad instrumentation all over the mix. Instead we get a mellow but upbeat groovy song, that has far exceeded my expectations.
