i'm probably in the minority but the demo to me is too slow, the hfb's version has more attack and urgency. i also prefer the reworking of the lyrics on the proper album version. and the howling guitar at the beginning, although a little subtle and low in the mix, is a nice little nod to what once was.

I like both, but you can't really compare an amateurish demo of bad quality to a properly produced album track of 23 years later, can you?

A little of both worlds... Apologies for the shameless plugging.

(but with liam singing of course.)

A little of both worlds... Apologies for the shameless plugging. This could have been a huge single for Oasis. Where was this tune during the HC sessions?!

A little of both worlds... Apologies for the shameless plugging. Well..we know Liam would sound nothing like that today. He would just be screaming, not finishing the lines and backing away from the mic. I LOVE how the song turned out in the end one of the tops on the album

Needs a Liam vocal and an Oasis wall of sound production on it for me... Totally underwhelmed by the HFB version so far, but who knows, I may change my stance on it once I've heard it in the official CD quality. Yeaaaah, I didn't.

it would have been the perfect oasis comeback single which really makes me think noel actually really has no interest in reforming. it could quite easily have been saved

Hopefully the positive reaction this track is getting will encourage Noel to dig further into the oasis vault.
We could soon end up with more potential oasis gems.
