I posted my thoughts in the Review Thread. What do you guys think? Definitely could've been on Definitely Maybe with Liam singing.

Needs a Liam vocal and an Oasis wall of sound production on it for me... Totally underwhelmed by the HFB version so far, but who knows, I may change my stance on it once I've heard it in the official CD quality.

Love it.
I felt like I was thrown back into 1995 while I listened to it for the first time. Such an amazing feeling... a very emotional moment.

I think the production is perfect as it is, but if you had '94 Liam singing it, holy crap. Noel's vocals aren't bad but not ideal for me IMO, it is definitely a track made for him to sing. It does have the Be Here Now wall of sound to it, but without a overzealous layering of guitar tracks.

So far it's my favorite from the record after two listens. Brings me back to the glory days of the nineties. I have no problem with Noel's vocals, I think the backing vocals in the chorus make the tune. Perfect. Looking forward to blasting this one from the car when the warm weather returns.

I've said it before and will say it again:
It needs the bass riff in the chorus from original!

I felt exactly the same man or :/ I don't know what feeling it was I think this version is really good tbh, shows how far Noel's come as if we had a DM version we'd never dreamt noel would be able to do it justice like he does here

Don't know why everyone is saying it could be on Definitely Maybe...
This is definitely a "Be Here Now" era Noel Gallagher song (although Liam would sound great on it too)

It sounds like a mixture between a DM track and a BHN one.

The intro riff is synomnomus with the Definitely Maybe era Noel riffs, whereas the song is mostly Be Here Now era pack a punch cocaine fueled mayhem, but simmered down due to Noel's voice and not as many overlayered guitar tracks. The chorus is brilliant.

Am I the only one who still hears a very similar background melody to "Morning Glory", just like the 1991/92 version? So, therefore, it surely should not have been anywhere on any of the early Oasis records because then we might not have had my beloved "Morning Glory"!

It's basically Morning Glory's intro improvised with Definitely Maybe nods and Be Here Now's wall of guitar tracks.

The riff is the same with Comin' On Strong, only a bit faster.

should have saved it for the "REUNION" Should've recorded it and released it for the Definitely Maybe anniversary !! Yes, it should have been released on an Oasis related album. This song has the soul of Bonehead, McCarroll, Guigsy and even Liam in it. He just skipped 23 years of music history, the whole Britpop era almost. But I'm looking forward to hearing it live.

If Noel needed more "songs" for Be Here Now, he should have dusted off this gem.
