It sounds just like the 2009 version of My Big Mouth.

I was going to create a separate thread for this, but I would get killed even more. I also want to profess that I'm not trying to be funny or controversial, and nor do I think rape is funny or amusing at all....
but Lock All the Doors is all about rape.
The entire lyrical content. I know Noel didn't mean it, but it's all there. Sorry, just a stark observation.

I don't see that at all.
The girl in question is assumed to be a free/carefree spirit, who seems like a lost and lonely soul because she's all on her own. And he assumes that she's into music because of the star shaped tambourine, and that she spends her nights dancing on her own. But, after that one encounter, he hasn't seen her since.
And the rest of the song is fantasizing about their next encounter, which I kinda find echos a bit of Slide Away, "And I want to try now, I'm gonna make you mine now, " / "All I know is you can take me there," in "I can be sure like never before this time," and, "You know it's mine... you know it's mine."
But while he has all these feelings for her, she has no idea that he even exists. AKA... Ballad Of The Mighty I.
And it's a once in a lifetime moment - Lock all the doors, live the dream to perfection, because this might be the only chance you get.

Beady’s Here Now i must be a bit slow please explain how this song is about rape?? I kinda understood... Noel describes a girl and says they should go somewhere else and that they'll probably never see each other... You can interpret it in a 1000 ways, one of them being rape. I prefer Beady's Mighty Eye explanation of how BOTMI is about the reunion.

I prefer Beady's Mighty Eye explanation of how BOTMI is about the reunion. yeah i get " strike up the band for one last stand",,but fail to see how LATD is about rape,,maybe i dont have rape on the brain I seriously have no energy (energy is a casualty due to my current diet) to be doing this, so it's going to be rushed. First off, BOTMI is most cerainly about finding/saving Liam and reuniting the band. So moving on.... She wore a star-shaped tambourine The prettiest girl I had ever seen Was standing lost and lonely on the shore
^Noel sees this attractive bird. And is watching her from afar. I try to catch her every night Dancing on her own in the candlelight But I can't seem to reach her anymore^Noel is stalking this bird (like I do with caro) but is having trouble grabbing her and make her his. Lock all the doors! Maybe they'll never find us I can be sure, like never before, this time^Noel finally grabs the bird. He locks the door so she can't get out, or anyone else in. And this time Noel thinks he will relive his dirty fantasy in full with her. Get down on the floor! Turn all the lights off inside I can be sure, like never before, this time You know it's mine^Now he demands her to "Get down on the floor!", and with all the lights off not only can no one see, but it's quite clear what Noel has in store, especially because now he wants to make "it" his, as he continues to be quite possessive with the bird that he has now enslaved. She never hears me when I speak I gotta find out where the magic sleeps And I can feel you underneath my skin^The bird refuses to obey Noel, and Noel needs to find more dirty "magic" about this bird, as she remains underneath him. And if we take our love inside Cause I don't wanna sail on the ocean wide Cause we might never live to meet again^Would be more of a one night stand if ignoring everything that's already happened. But it's not, it's more sinister. This is no relationship, this is Noel showing that once he scars the bird for life, he will cast her aside as he lurks for his next victim. Shoddy, Noel. I expected better. And what would Sara think!? In all seriousness, Romeo and Juliet this is not.

In Noel's song, there aren't any teenagers committing suicide. Do you honestly believe that Noel actually set out to write a song about raping somebody?
