What's the point of offering Liam a songs, Noel? Just do the reunion ffs Another Noel desperate for media attention this is so true. we all know every interview in the last 4 years mentioned oasis reunion, noel knows this, what the press want to know so why not say you'll give liam songs. this is the next best thing to get tabloid inches without effecting your current solo album If this is a publicity stunt I would be very disappointed. Don't mess with fans like that.

Oh my, I'm glad most of you weren't around in the '90s to hear some of the insults the Gallaghers churned out. Your heads would've imploded.
I'm just sayin'...

I love the way some posters go into complete and utter meltdown whenever Noel says anything at all. Like the post below for example. It's the reason why I still read this forum after all these years. Pure comedy gold. Noel should keep his mouth shut.Enough with the bigmouth. He s not funny anymore. (More like) in his desperate attempt to promote new album , he s already looks like an old maid, insulting everyone το get attention, thinking he s rock n roll (debut,in the heat of the moment, TBOTMI?do me a favour). Hail to the clever, mature and and beloved one of the Gallaghers! From 1995 til today his albums (Oasis or NGHFB) are not even better than Beady Eye. Noel should probably write first a proper album for himself, something to make him/us really proud and then to give advices and offers to Liam...
and Noel should not forget to pray for good albums sales (again) cause otherwise i bet that someone else will ask for an Oasis reunion...and the worst is that he s gonna do it only for the money not for the fans, not for Oasis. "...Hey you! Up in the sky,Learning to fly,Tell me how high Do you think you'll goBefore you start falling..."

Although we can't deny something is changing in the air since Beady Eye split up.

Do reporters have anything else to ask him besides the same stupid questions? All they ask is "What do you think of Ed Sheeran? Is Oasis getting back together? Why do you take the tube? What's your daughter doing? What did you and Paul Weller have for lunch? How's Liam?" We haven't had solid information and insight on the album from him, only through leaked show performances, album reviews, and tracks we've already heard. I'm starting to thinking something's up. Every interview is the regurgitated crap from interviewers.

Every interview is the regurgitated crap from interviewers. It allows each and every magazine to print their own official 'Noel Dismisses Oasis Rumours' headline. A headline saying 'Noel Confirms 'Coming on Strong' Chorus' or 'Noel Gallagher's 'The Mexican' sounds like QOTSA' isn't going to pull the casual reader in. It's all about numbers and money unfortunately. Oasis is a brand that holds significant weight in this regard.

I'm only talking about this from his point of view i.e he's a musician who's wrote, produced, played on 90% of CY so when a journalist asked him about liam, oasis reunion thats very insulting as thats relevant.. So can see why he'd want to be trying to bring it back to him vs his old disbanded ..band / sibling.. for the rest of it idk.. i'd guess as he doesnt guide the interview (behind the scenes) they scared to push the boundaries? idk but like you say lots and lots of interviews end up identical which as a whole doesnt happen with other artists or at least as 'copy and paste' as noel's does

Noel seems very confident in himself at the moment. I know this is OT but I think it bodes well for the album he's about to release. He clearly isn't pulling any punches when it comes to his current songwriting ability. When he was struggling a bit he was quick to talk up LAG's song's. Now he seems to dismiss them as beneath his leftover tracks which at the very least implies he thinks this is his best album in a good while but to be honest Noel, most of your songs would sound better with Liam singing them, even at this point. If producers can get modern arti....i mean pretty people who look good as the face of pop music to sound good then they can fucking easily get 2015 LG to sound good in the studio

The truth is, Noel just wanted to draw our attention from Riverman bootleg by this. He and NME are going to keep us busy till March.
It was like - Hey, i think we've got a problem here. They seem to be not interested in the tube story anymore, we have to come up with something new
- Did you tell them that i wrote a song passing Tesco ?
- Yes, they already know that, i think we need something more grandiose

He knows the only people mostly interested in the album is longtime fans or newer listeners for a few years now (like myself). Under comments on the articles and music videos it's always the same other people that have commented before on other content for a while. Washed up magazine companies that had their Britpop hayday in the 90s like NME will literally publish any story that simply has the 'Gallagher' name on it. I mean they had a story about his daughter getting embarrassed about Noel talking to One Direction! Who cares! Looks like radio interviews and articles aren't going to do any good for us, and we'll just have to wait for some sort of leak or just until March 2nd.

I think in this situation he was mainly expressing his confidence about his new material in a bizzare way maybe, but that's Noel. He's maybe just talking too much lately. How many interviews he did since he announced the new album? 50 ? He loves that obviously.

I think it's brilliant idea. Yesterday I was wondering what would Noel do with all the rockier songs he' s got because judging on what we' ve heard so far songs on Chasing yesterdays will be very daddy rockinsh or somehow disco. Would be great if those songs would be released one day and let' s be honest here. Noel might be a better singer but he could never sing a proper rock n roll tune. Not saying he should have full NG penned songs, but 3-4 outta 12? Why not. Noel would not find better singer with attitude to sing them anyway. Noel loved being in Oasis, it was just the touring and daily contact with Liam. btw I still consider Be to be more interesting album than NGHFB and what a boring place would be planet earth without Noel/Liam banter

Asked what type of songs he would hand to his brother, the High Flying Birds singer added: "Some fucking good ones, better than the lot he was singing last time for sure."
Everyone is assuming he meant BE songs?
What if he was on about DOYS..
ie. The last time he gave him songs to sing
