Exactly, he collaborated with "artists". Real musicians, with real talent. Not some douchebag producer (well there was Spector, now I think of it but you know what I mean) Kanye is a great many things but talentless is not among them. Judging by the massive autotuning the lead vocal required on this McCartney collaboration, Kanye obviously can't sing. If that's an example of his "talent" I won't bother listening to any of his other work. Perhaps McCartney could collaborate with Paris Hilton next?

I like his Fireman albums and find it quite bizarre that these days he hides his best work behind a pseudonym.

Lennon:
In My Life Norwegian Wood Girl I'm Only Sleeping Tomorrow Never Knows She Said She Said Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds Being for the benefit of mr kite A day in the life Dear prudence Glass onion Happiness is a warm gun I'm so tired Come together I want you Because Mean Mr mustard / polythene pam Across the universe The ballad of john and Yoko. Day tripper
Johns excellent output post- Help!
McCartney:
Drive my car Eleanor rigby Here there and everywhere For no one We cam work it out Getting better Fixing a hole Shes leaving home (middle 8 of ADITL) Back in the ussr Why don't we do it in the road? Helter skelter Oh darling You never give me your money SCITTBW/Golden slumbers/carry that weight/the end Get back The long and winding road.
Harrison:
Love you to Taxman Within you without you While my guitar gently weeps Long long long Something Here comes the sun I Me Mine
Pre-Help! - Lennon and mccartney were equal in abilities. Rubber Soul and Revolver - Lennon was superior Sgt. Pepper. - McCartney made this album White album - about even, incl. Harrison Abbey road - all members produced some of their best work Let it be - mccartney.
I personally believe Lennon is the better songwriter (instant karma, imagine, give peace a chance in his solo work aswell), but McCartney and Harrison both came out with brilliant songs consistently on each album.

I don't feel the need to argue one way or the other. My point would be look how much better they all were together, than they were separate? Together, they were one of the two greatest bands ever. Apart, the wrote some good songs, but none of them approached the success they had as Beatles.
