For the people who have actually seen the video: Is it better or worse than 3 minutes of a shark breaching in slow motion? Yes. In this case you just forget the shark and pay attention only at the music, what is impossible on this new and terrible video. |

Wrong. 1 view per IP Address per day. My "argument" as you put it, is valid indeed. Even if that's true, how can it be a real indicator if someone can increase the view count if he/she watch the video everyday? wonderwall has 140,000,000 views. think about that, one person gets a view a day. thats impressive. when music videos reigned supreme on television nowhere near that many people would see the video. music videos are very very popular to this day, and even Noel, Beady Eye, Oasis get lots of views. Its a good thing |

Not true. Music videos are bigger than ever. Look at the big mainstream artists, they litterally get hundreds of millions of views per video. Even Beady Eye had 5m for the Roller. MTV never got that sort of exposure back in the day. You are forgetting that Youtube views are not counting unique views per person. Anyone can view the video 10 times and the views counter will count it as view. So, they are not serious indicator of how relevant are the music videos nowdays. Your argument is invalid. Yeah, no. Youtube only allows one true view per day per computer. It's more likely the view count is quadrupled what it actually says. |

FOTF video wasn't really a proper music video, they just uploaded the song to Youtube and instead of sticking the cover artwork or some lyrics they put that shark video, I can't believe some people still think that was a music video made to promote the song. And the Do The Damage one is a pile of crap, but better than the one for EIOTR I guess. |
