So, there's a US television personality called Carrie Keagan who, a few hours ago, posted this to her Instagram page: http://instagram.com/p/vqvrC2Qxo9 "If you look very closely you'll see a familiar face in the new video by Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds "Do The Damage" directed by @mikebrucefilms #rollerderby #glamdolls #noelgallagher #songoftheday #musicvideo"  Interestingly, the tags refer to Mike Bruce and a roller derby - this sounds very much like the video for ITHOTM that Noel said was canned because his appearance in it looked rubbish. But she's clearly got the title from somewhere, and why post it today of all days, when the old video was supposedly scrapped a month or so ago. Are they reusing the footage, or starting again? |

maybe as its a b side they are gonna use the footage minus noel rather than wasting it..
Also if its gonna be a series of videos again (as such) it'll still make sense without a part missing

It does seem to have got a good reaction - Noel's already had two interviewers tell him how good the song is - it's definitely the best reaction to one of his b-sides in many years. Maybe they just want to capitalise on that with some further exposure, and if they can make use of some footage lying dormant and already paid for, then why not? On the other hand, maybe she just doesn't know the video was binned. |

Maybe they've already filmed it and paid people, so why not? Also Do the Damage is doing quite well, it will be first HFB's b-side on the Top 100. It makes sense to me.
