What a terrible video.
No wonder Noel didn't want to use it.

What the fuck i just watched ?
I know nobody cares for videos these days, Noel hates them and all but.. Can't someone in his management explain him that this is not only bad taste, but it's ruining the actual songs ? Just stop making them for fuck sake, this is awful !

Sorry, I've just watched it again and I have to say that it's 100% SHITE. Mike Bruce has zero talent whatsoever... TDOYAM, WAL and IIHAG videos were not that bad, but the rest was fucking awful. This is fucking awful. Unwatchable. The dull ITHOTM performance video looked like it was made by Kubrick compared to this... So........ Do you like it or not?

nobody cares for videos these days Not true. Music videos are bigger than ever. Look at the big mainstream artists, they litterally get hundreds of millions of views per video. Even Beady Eye had 5m for the Roller. MTV never got that sort of exposure back in the day.

Anyone can view the video 10 times and the views counter will count it as view. So, they are not serious indicator of how relevant are the music videos nowdays. Your argument is invalid.

Wrong. 1 view per IP Address per day. My "argument" as you put it, is valid indeed.

Even if that's true, how can it be a real indicator if someone can increase the view count if he/she watch the video everyday?

I haven't watched a video since the summer of '98 on MTV's Beach House.

Just wow, wow. That's utter shit.
I wonder how much all of that cost. If I was Noel I'd be pissed. He had to film two videos, neither being any good, for barely any gain. He took a loss on both. That must have been a big hit to him financially. He may need to do a couple more gigs just to make up the balance on it.
As for Mike Bruce, never again. He's just been a vacuum of diminishing returns. Each video poorer than before. Each video given a decent sized budget and this is what he's been giving. I'm glad Noel just decided to put the axe to this. This would have been an embarrassment for his first single.

A video for the B side?! Is this how the music industry works now?

A video for the 'B side'?! Is this how the music industry works now? The whole concept is wrong as fuck. Am i getting it wrong or did they filmed that video for ITHOTM and then used it for the other tune that is a B side ?

The reason I loved watching Oasis videos (as boring as they were technically) was to see how cool the band looked (mostly Liam), what they were wearing and the locations they were in. Couldn't care less about all these stories they create using actors for all these Noel videos.

For the people who have actually seen the video: Is it better or worse than 3 minutes of a shark breaching in slow motion?
