physical sales of Rhianna really poor BUT you hardly call Rhianna's sales poor with : My tongue was firmly in my cheek when I made that post :-) Still amazed at those physical sales numbers though, I know Rhianna has a younger fanbase but would've thought she'd sell a few more CDs. Sad to think there'll be a time not too far away when albums won't even have physical releases.

Sad to think there'll be a time not too far away when albums won't even have physical releases. it is sad, dont know why people my age are more interested in just having free music on spotify than have a physical copy, personally i love my disc collection. i only use spotify for trying artists out before either leaving them or buying their album. if people arent gonna get physical copies at least buy it on itunes.

According to Music Week Chasing Yesterday sold 279,371 in the UK. NGHFB1 815.000

How many albums do you have to sell to get the 100th spot in the top 100 albums? Not very many really. Especially in the UK, which is not a particularly large market. This is why Oasis singles/albums will regularly pop up in the charts with no rhyme or reason.

So ~28,000 sold in 2016 so far, I guess it'll go platinum when the next album is announced/promoted/released like how NGHFB got a sales spike in early 2015 when CY was released.
