Ahahah, that's nonsense really, why doing it now? Anyway space75gr a bit too dramatic maybe? He's got two or three singles that are yet to come out (Riverman in three weeks, YKWCGB in the summer I suppose, which could be HUGE) and the festival season is actually pretty big for him, it was last time, can't see why it shouldn't be the same this time, especially now that he's headlining (and I wouldn't be too sure about Glasto...last rumour is that there are two acts co-headlining on Sunday...no okay it probably won't be him) This has nothing to do with Beady Eye, their sales were disappointing considering how big they were with Oasis, but Noel has a double platinum album and an already gold one, plus most of the money he gets are from touring, and, apart for America, it's not like he struggles to sell out gigs, he'll be alright

Noels fine, he nowhere near having bad sales.

Noel's first album had some hype behind it simply because it was Noel's first solo album. It was kind of a big deal. Beady Eye got some attention for that same reason.
That being said, every year that passes by, sales shrink as streaming becomes the norm. Have more people actually heard HFB than CY? I bet there are thousands and thousands of people who have heard the new album that don't get accounted for because they aren't buying the record. I know streams count as sales in some oddball way, but its not the same. We live in a rapidly changing era. Had CY met HFB's sales pace, it would actually be the more successful record.

Noel's album gonna destroy Blur's so bad. They can't even win the "britpop battle" versus a solo and independent artist Noel. Useless speech of the day. Cheers.

It'd be brilliant if CY setup camp in the top 10 for the rest of the year. With the festival season coming and Oasis reforming, I can see it happening.

Top 10 for the rest of the year is impossible for everyone except Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran and Adele at this point. Yeah, but let's be honest. Noel > Sam Smith > Adele >>> Ed Sheeran It may seem impossible, but if Oasis really did reform sometime this year, I could see CY surging back into the top 10. DM and WTSMG might even make it back in there. IF Oasis reform.
