This is the most uncommercial record noel has ever made which makes the sales even more impressive no obvious stand out singles just a great set of songs that work perfectly every album he brings out will be number 1 in the uk anyway.

Alright, that's the first step But now did all their records got to number 1? They have at least nine #1 albums, but no, not every single one of their albums got to #1. And Gas Panic pointed out something important--that Wikipedia listing includes compilation albums (like greatest hits albums) and also albums that reached #1 posthumously, so the actual number of #1 original albums that were achieved while the artist was still living, is somewhat lower. So you're right that Robbie Williams is off the list (unless we count the #1 Take That albums he was involved with).

Arctic Monkeys are bigger than Kasabian. In august their merchandising was everywhere, in every shop in London.
And Noel him self in term of sales is bigger than Kasabian

Don't have time to read through the whole thread to see if others have this issue, but I pre-ordered the vinyl of the album back in October and it was supposed to include the handwritten lyric sheet but there was not one in my order. Anyone else have this happen?

That's cause pre-orders don't count first day,and she's got loads of them
