Oh I was on my phone, maybe that has something to do with it. So this doesn't necessarily confirm what we thought. Liam left..but was it really his decision? I'm curious what happened. Are you being serious? It's as clear as day as to what happened. So she said "Liam left" and you think that he was forced out? Yeah that makes a lot of sense. That's why she didn't know about it until after the event. Come on man, think. Clearly what's happened is that Liam is being a selfish pr*ck again and making decisions without thinking about the consequences on other people. Either he thinks an Oasis reunion is around the corner, which is just stupid, or he thinks he can make it as a 'musician' without the help of Gem and Andy, which is even more stupid. Either way, Liam's actions are self-serving as always. I have little sympathy for his failing career. Also, let's not forget - let's not forget, Dude - that keeping wildlife, an amphibious rodent, for uh, domestic, you know, within the city - that aint legal either. God bless.

Just because Liam left doesn't mean he was the source of whatever problems led to the split. Noel left Oasis, but was he the one who caused the split? And nothing we've seen indicates the other band members were against splitting up. I don't think Andy would retweet Liam's breakup message if they were at each other's throats the day before.

Liam couldn't deal with the low profile/ low success Beady Eye had compared to oasis and NGHFB.
The NGHFB tour selling out under 10 mins was the icing on the cake.
This is why Beady Eye split. Pretty simple.

Pretty simple. theres not many left but 3 weeks? on you can go onto ticketmaster and buy tickets so that fact was never accurate at all. Im sure liam wasn't too impressed with how lacklustre BDI did Vs HFB but seriously after HFB1 you really think liam was surprised at noel tickets sales this tour/ announcement? NO he wouldn't be

Ok, Noel sold out 90% of the arena shows with some shit seats left.
Beady Eye couldn't even sell Hammersmith Apollo.
It wouldn't have been a surprise but a combination of everything, looking at the bigger picture and his ego/pride, he packed it in.
If you're trying to find some other bullshit story to make it more interesting or easier to digest, you're in denial.

I would suspect the split was all but confirmed before Noel's new album was even announced.
They weren't touring or making an album or anything, so I doubt the split was caused by a spur of the moment meltdown like Oasis.

Also saying that after how succesful HFB1 was as an album / touring be strange now that liam would split up BDI when obv you, me and him could've predicted arenas etc for noel at at any time in the last year ( which BDI not been active) Surely if it was about ego he'd done it prior to any noel announcement / 6 months ago so no body could look at it as a "measuring cocks" reason and just they wanted to split after a disastorus BE tour

I think it depends on the production and advertising costs and whether or not the gigs in the end could allow them to profit.
But even if a a thousand or so people show up per gig and some are also buying merchandise, it's not great money compared to Oasis or NGHFB, but it's still good money for just a couple hours of work between the 4 of them. Some bands would be overjoyed to get that kind of heat. It's enough to live on. By the end of a tour lasting 3-4 months, they've probably already made what most people make in a year.

It's not about the profit. It's about not having the success/scale he craved.

It's not about the profit. It's about not having the success/scale he craved. I just don't buy that. He knew starting out that things were going to be different. He was in an interview one night with Nicole and they joked about not touring in luxury anymore like they did with Oasis. I don't think he would have done BE if that was the problem. He would have given up after DGSS.

Totally disagree. To him he will strongly believe that BE should be as big as NGHFB. He made it quite clear that the 2nd attempt would be the last if it flopped.

First of all, what constitutes a flop? Liam considered DGSS to be a flop, so why would he assume BE would be a sudden success? Liam doesn't strike me as being delusional.

A flop in his eyes, not mine! My definition of a flop would be totally different so no point in me answering that, I'd have loved a 3rd album!
I think you're disillusioned if you can't see that's why they aren't bothering to continue.

Within a month of the release everyone knew where BE was heading so i don't think only 3 weeks ago liam realised when noels tour was announced he had to split up BDI cos of ego

Despite not being able to sing very well anymore and being an average to above average (at the very very best) songwriter, he thought he could take on his older brother, a genuine songwriting legend. No, he's not delusional in the slightest! Just accept it - Liam is a limelight whore. He has been for his entire career and continues to be one.

He would have given up after DGSS.
Totally disagree with the above. He gave it a 2nd go. And it wasn't successful enough for him to continue.
Why do you think they ended it? Because BE we're really successful but some other personal shit has resulted in the band breaking up. Get a grip.

Its just your opinions, like i say you might be right i don't disagree with you opinions but you think you are reporting facts and you think you know what your talking about but you don't know anymore than any one else.

If I had to bet on it, I'd say Liam caused the split. But I'm withholding judgment when the only evidence we have is a single tweet from the wife of one of the band members (not exactly an impartial source). And as I said, Andy's retweet would seem to indicate that the breakup was *not* acrimonious.
