I said it almost two years ago. Once Beady Eye started playing Noel written Oasis songs it would be their doom. To me that was a desperation play and it cheapened their potential product in the end. I'd much rather they forge their own path with their own songs. It only gives more credibility to their new identity. They could've at least played oasis songs they wrote. I could not AGREE more. If they had to play Oasis songs, show some spine and play the ones you guys actually wrote. So many good Oasis LAG tunes to pull from. Such as..... - Born On A Different Cloud - Songbird - Turn Up The Sun - Eyeball Tickler - I'm Outta Time - Boy With The Blues

All Noels new interviews will be questions regarding Beady Eye's break up now... He would probably brush it off quickly and not make any potential snide remarks like Liam did in the past about HFB.

As a big brother I wonder how Noel feels about it all.

Turn up the sun was the coolest concert opener and it could've opened a beady eye concert like noel using its good to be free. I think songbird may be done forever now due to the divorce.

Yeah now that I think of it more, I can't see Noel being a dick about it or saying I told you so. Pretty sure he will just say he wishes Liam and everyone else all the best.

There's somethin' major happened behind the scenes for this to happen I think. Big step splittin' a band up, they could have surely just took an extended break. Bass player will be delighted he quit Kasabian for Beady Eye now...

Who would have thought in 1995 or even 2000 or even 2005 that this story will meander so much. I don't know what will be Liam's next move, better be pretty fuckin' cool cause this feels like no one is happy in "Oasis" family today in 2014.

Jumping off a successful band like Kasabian to join a band that many people said would split in the next 2-3 years wasn't wise. Who knows. He might have had a falling out with Serge and Tom.

yes I'm not saying you said that obv i need to spell it out that you. You was saying you like bands to grow and push themselves which when noel had 13-15 brand new HFB songs, 18 tracks to choose from AA album not just Freaky Teeth and have a choice of maybe 50 oasis song's to either debut live or rework etc he choose to play maybe 7-8 of the exact same songs he's played many times over wasn't pushing himself? Im not saying HFB isn't a step in the right direction but it really wasn't him 'pushing himself' maybe the odd track or the odd parts of songs but music very personal so if it floated you boat Well for me and a lot of other forum members/fans it was a refreshing, rewarding listen. An album consisting of all Noel penned songs is something I've been missing for a long long time. Noel went in saying he was going to play a handful of Oasis tracks on his first go around. I'm fine if he plays zero and I'd expect 2-3 on the upcoming tour however it could be 3-5. Who knows. In my opinion, things are more exciting regarding Noel than at any point between 2001-2008. I don't care if he plays 5 or 0 that is irrelevant to the point i was saying. I agree things are very exciting thats why we are all on an oasis / bdi / NGHFB forum looking to the future, I'm very excited got tickets for 4 gigs on the first leg so lets hope he's pushed himself on record and will equally live

(he's married to ringo's daughter they must be skint). They said he'd defo be back for kasabian next tour.. lol

Let alone, any hits that could be considered great outside of the core fanbase.

Liam will learn his lesson from this. They released DGSS too early, didn't have the songs they promised, and were instantly discarded as a cheap Oasis knock-off. Whatever he does next, he won't make those mistakes again.
And I'm pretty sure there won't be a Best Of - few bands with two albums have those, and the few that have are usually really great.

But every new release, some similar statement comes out.

Until he wrote what many consider his best album since Be Here Now or even Morning Glory (yes, that would be HFB)...and calls it "allright".
