Hope that snippet means we're getting a guitar-centric, Edge-driven industrial rock album. I hope Edge will sing one song. Van Diemen's Land and Sunday Bloddy Sunday sung by The Edge on the Popmart tour are great. Do NOT forget Numb! Admit that it's a masterstroke of genius and I might forgive you for excluding it.

Coming up to almost 2 solid years since Songs of Innocence dropped. Still no real signs of Songs of Experience. Oh Bono you bastard! Quick follow up my ass!

U2 just posted this pic. I'm quite worried about the presence of Pharrell in it... I seriously hope they don't think he's worthy of a collaboration for the album. What a clown.

I'm no big U2 fan but I'd just like to say I listened to The Joshua Tree today and it was fucking epic.

Knowing your strict hatred of hip hop , I'm going to have to disagree on Mr. Williams. He's a very talented producer and has worked with guys such as Johnny Marr and Hans Zimmer. His songwriting is pretty eh, I'd agree, but give the guy a mixing console/ production tools and he can crank out something pretty good. As much as 'Happy' was the most overplayed and annoying song of 2014, it was a hit for a reason. It's catchy and got a infectious groove.
