Rush's synth-based albums from the 1980's are generally better than all of their other output (especially Power Windows!).

Shawn Mendes' Stitches is a great pop tune Every time I coincidentally listen to this I realise how I somehow like it and it surprises me. Might be because of the lyrics and my current emotional state though, not sure.

Jacqueline by Franz Ferdinand may be the best album opener of all time! Great opener although I think the Fallen is a better opener. I say Franz Ferdinand debut is one of the most undervalued debut albums, it seems their stock has gone down a little with every release which is a shame. The Vines debut Highly Evolved is one of best debuts of the last 16 years.

Jacqueline by Franz Ferdinand may be the best album opener of all time! Very true and it's a kiler song live as well. I'm alive and how I knew it, but for chips and for freedom I could die!Really loved their album when it came out and listned to it again and again.

Queen are seriously overrated (I personally dislike them altogether).

matt , you may care to know I have found a real respect for Springsteen since dissing him earlier in this thread. Hmm.... Didn't you also say that you didn't like U2 and REM (or something like that) before discovering the genius of Achtung Baby and Automatic for the People? Watch yourself become a Keane and Blur fan in no time at all!!
