Holy crap I love this song. Been playing it nonstop for days. R U Mine is going to be on the album, right? Can't wait...based on those two alone it could really end up being my favorite AM album so far.

I don't think R U Mine will be on the album. It was a record store release last year as a stand alone single. Might end up as a bonus song on the deluxe edition like First of My Kind did with Miles Kane but I don't think it will be on the stand alone album.

Love the new stuff. They have this incredible ability to make me love the next "era" of the band more than the previous. Every single time. When Favourite Worst Nightmare came out it eclipsed Whatever... for me. Then Humbug blew my mind. Then they went to that great summery '60s place for Suck It And See and made me fall in love with that album. Then R U Mine? comes out and is my favorite thing they've ever done. Now I'm addicted to Do I Wanna Know? Very special band. Well put mate, I love the fact they like to shake things up even if it means it loses them fans and commercial value. Not a bad album in their canon and their last two singles have been some of their best to date. They are turning into a awesome live act. SIAS really splits many but I think its a awesome album. Along with the Submarine soundtrack (very much underrated in Turner's canon), it holds some of Turner's greatest ballads while the rockers are great in their own right. Top band.

Nope you're right the band have said it won't be on the album. It was a stand alone song. I doubt the Monkeys will put it as a bonus track really.

The song titles just sound like good up tempo numbers. Josh Homme will appear on it as well.

Oh hell yes I thought R U Mine? might be on it just based on its similarity with Do I Wanna Know? So I guess that makes sense. I am so much more excited about this than BE it's not even funny...but let's not get into that here

This band keep getting better and better IMO.
Both their first and second albums were brilliant, the first being one of the best ever. Humbug is my least favourite but has my 2 favourite AM songs (Crying Lightning and My Propeller) and SIAS is my favourite AM album not to mention R U Mine? and now the new song which is also fantastic. Really looking forward to this.

Are you saying Beady Eye albums are better then Arctic Monkeys? Don't be silly son, You probably have a hard on for Liam but even he hasn't written anything close to Alex Turner.

Was unaware that I had to justify that opinion.

I can't even sit through a full Arctic Monkeys album tbh, Alex Turner's voice doesn't do it for me and the songs get a bit samey after a while for me but individually, they have some brilliant songs. BE doesn't have the highs that Arctic Monkeys albums have but it flows nicely as an album so I'd say I prefer it to most of the Monkey's albums

You can throw that Oasis but Monkeys change it up. Best British band since the Stone Roses are the Monkeys.
