They said the new album would be in the vein of R U Mine I think. I think they want it quite heavy. I loved Suck It and See, it is actually my favourite album of theirs. You can actually hear the difference from Alex Turner as a singer - I think he's improved massively since the first album.

for a band that was created out of the whole myspace, social media revolution. Arctic Monkeys have sort of become mildly timeless sounding. Great on Turner and Co.

I wouldn't agree personally, although i do like the song, if we were doing one of them 'rate the album' threads i would put it somewhere near the bottom IMHO, but as i say i do like the song, just prefer many of the others. |
