...or at least as far as you know. For instance. I like a group called Bad Brains. They're pretty intense but their first album is legendary, as is I Against I. I'm not a huge fan or anything but I like them. I've never heard anyone here mention them. What about you? (and does anyone else know the Bad Brains?)

I really like a band from Canada called Sunset Rubdown. I believe they recently disbanded. Very sad news. Their front man was Spencer Krug of Wolf Parade acclaim (another EXCELLENT Canadian band by the way). To me Spencer is an extremely talented artist.

Broken Records The Twilight Sad Kassidy
3 of my most favourite bands. They're all Scottish treasures and I know there's only one or two (matt and Linnhe)on here know what I'm talking about.

I'm a huge fan of Jesca's 2 latest studio albums, superb eccentric, catchy folk-pop.

Seeing as I am the resident "musical theater" fan, pretty much anything from there.
Also, local texas bands like The Toadies and Sponge.

John Squire solo work. His voice stopped him from achieving the popularity he deserved for such incredible songwriting. To me, his voice quickly became and acquired taste, tho. His first album is amazing. No filler, i swear.
Haha, and all those madchester bands like new fast automatic daffodils, northside, 808 state, primal scream, i have no acquaintances listening to this things... not even the la's, stone roses, FSOL, etc.
p.d: love that vulture song.

The Moody Blues
Their stuff from the 80's isn't that great, but the albums they made in the 60's and 70's (their classic 7) are good.

Haven't seen Rival Sons mentioned on this forum. Atm they are my one of my favorite bands. If you haven't heard of them, u should check them out. I would describe them as a poppy ledzeppelin:)
Recommended songs: Keep on swinging Pressure and time

The Twilight Sad are effin brilliant. I've seen them 4 times in the last 2 years and know them personally now. I doubt that "no one" counts for all of these but the ones that spring to mind immediately.. Camera Obscura Great band, love Razzle Dazzle Rose

Not a band, but I'm having a soft spot for the french musician Jean Michel Jarre. Great music for relaxing. I can put it on when in a dark room and just float away with the music. Few acts can achieve that!

It's quite perfect. I listen to shit load of psychedelic bands from the 60s that not many people have heard about, like the squires for example. Lots of the stuff of the nuggets collection. Also have been listening to 60s psychedelic bands from all over the world, far out places like Turkey and India. Those a probably the weirdest things I have on my record collection.

I like a band called Aphrodite's Child. Also, an unnoticed band from here in Canada.. Die Mannequin, one of my favorite bands as well. Die Mannequin is punk rock, but they're really good!

Half of my taste (excepting a few), too long to list. Those who like the Foo Fighters may (I said may) like the Screaming Jets, not exactly sure if they've covered Live Forever or not (LF was a self release)
