sorry to piss on your parade Josh(are you ever gonna get in touch with me?)but Nirvana are without a doubt highly influential and among the best.Some decent tunes.The Band,The Doors,Metallica,Buddy Holly and the Crickets,Garth Brooks,The Byrds,The Eagles,Allman Brothers all get my vote...

I'd add the Band for sure, especially if your going with the whole no bad albums things. Which I find a bit of a dodgy parameter given that some bands like the grateful dead recorded for over 30 years, while the Beatles discography was recorded in 8 years. Also the stones discography is more than debatable, since some girls everything has pretty much been straight out bad. I wouldn't add metalica personally, but I don't know them that well. Nirvana should be there great band, but like someone said maybe younger people don't get them, I am 28.
