I like Sunday Morning Call too. I agree too. It's a bit too long, but enjoyable.

Glad this thread got revived. In my opinion... Knebworth was one of Liam's worst gigs, vocal wise. Like others have said, far too nasally. I'll be fine if it's never officially released. The Masterplan (minus Swamp Song & I Am The Walrus) is the best album Oasis ever did. Contrary to what a lot of people have said, I think the songs all flow together really well. Of course, I may be biased because it was one of the first Oasis albums I bought so I remember it quite fondly This is Oasis' finest hour: The BE album is one of the best-produced Gallagher albums but I can barely listen to it because, to be frank, the vocals are godawful, Soon Come Tomorrow being a prime example. Sunday Morning Call doesn't deserve all of the hate that it gets, but I think it's basically the straw that broke the camel's back in terms of SOTSOG, ie if it had been an actually solid song the album would be regarded much higher. No idea why it was released as a single.

While I don't get why it was released as a single, I don't agree on that song being the one that broke the album. There are songs on there that are far worse. FAR WORSE.

I can't listen to Live Forever (Manchester 2005) without crying Listen to Live Forever at Hampden 2005. A great, great sing along, globe? (even you can't remember as you were drunk as hell) Oh god yes I was bladdered at that gig!

I like Sunday Morning Call too. It's not too bad, but I don't listen to it much for the way it has a rather depressing tone to it that sticks out. I get that it's a sign of the times, but it just sounds very vulnerable, and it's a little long.

I hardly ever listen to Beady Eye, but when I do I like the tracks.
I'm very mixed about BDI. Saw them twice (DC and Philly) and met and got a photo with Gem. I think BDI were close to being decent, they were just missing something....not sure what....perhaps Noel would know? Cough.
Yeah, I feel mixed about BDI, and mainly support them because they're LAG.

I think the studio version of Cast No Shadow is shit (other than the awesome harmonies). I hate Listen Up, I can't stand it for reasons I've mentioned many a time. I think Glastonbury 2004 wasn't that bad of a performance, and certainly not a bad vocal from Liam, particularly on Stop Crying Your Heart Out which everybody seems to hate. Alan White drummed the Definitely Maybe era songs better than any other drummer including Tony, in my opinion. Some Might Say is one of the weaker songs on Morning Glory. I'd probably rate it equal with Hey Now. Roll With It > Slide Away Noel's version of Wonderwall is equally as good as Liam's. But not the Ryan Adams version, that's shit. I Can See A Liar is not a bad song. I really really don't understand your point of view.

Well, you do realize why they were invited, right? Why were they invited to the olympics?

Hey Now has to be the most underrated Oasis song. I LOVE this song.
I wasn't too fussed with it when I first bought Morning Glory, but it is fast becoming one of my favourites from that album. Great melody and great vocal performance from Liam, plus I love the big sound to it.

One of my most played Oasis songs are She's Electric. Do not think its a great song, but whatever mood I'm in She's Electric is enjoyable. Don't know why..

To me, The Hindu Times sounds a lot like Be Here Now (the song), except without the repetition, shorter, and more stripped back, of course. I like BHN better than THT, though. I also think that I Can See a Liar is a brilliant rock tune with a punk attitude that gets disregarded just for that bit about "sitting by the fire", and the fact that it doesn't fit a certain mood produced by the songs that had come before it. I love how the meaning is pretty straightforward, with the way the title is, and lines like "...he thought he was King Creole, until he found out... he sits upon a throne, he lives a sleazy life, he's all alone again & "...coming as he goes, into overdose, I wonder what he thinks of me." Makes me think it's about Liam

The only track I skip on BHN (other than the Reprise), is Fade In/Out.

Three songs everyone seems to like, which I try to like, but never really get into: Born On A Different Cloud (boring, I find the melody annoying), My Big Mouth (Too loud, too messy), It's Getting Better Man (Way too long and too repetive).

Come back like 3 hours later AND HE WAS SO PISSED OFF MAKING DRINKS. I'd walk by he would go you mother f#####r You ruined my night . worth every penny to see that look
